رز وسمك للمأكولات البحرية — Restaurant in Municipality of Al Shamal

I’ve heard many good things about this seafood shack and some has called it the best in Riyadh. So I gave it a try. I ordered 1/2 kg fried prawns, Mashkhool Rice, and one soda. (59 riyals)

I had high hopes but man was I very disappointed when I found out the prawns they’ve served me were nothing more than those frozen precooked store-bought cocktail’s shrimps. They were very greasy and tasteless. I couldn’t finish half of my plate.

On the other hand, the Mashkhool rice was decent, but I didn’t come for the rice. Price-wise and cleanliness were okay. Service was fast. Staff...

I am giving it a one star for one main reason. The cashier guy, who happened to be Egyptian, had a very bad attitude that I canceled my entire order. It was my first time at the place so it is common to ask questions about the kind of fish they use, kind of rice that comes with an order but he was bothered by my questions and had a really bad attitude. For fairness, my rating was not based on the taste, it was more of a customer service kind of thing, which means a lot to me. If you do not care, then try it yourself for a better judgment.
