Kintan — Restaurant in Municipality of Al Shamal

A must visit for yakiniku lovers. Before our visit, we didnt have high expectations, as finding quality yakiniku at reasonable prices in Riyadh can be challenging. However, Kintan turned out to be a delightful surprise. We dined with some friends and we made two separate reservations beforehand. Upon arrival, we couldnt get a single large table to accommodate our entire group. I am guessing due to the separate bookings. Nonetheless, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and we managed to get two adjacent tables, which worked out perfectly.

The food was excellent, offering a fantastic selection of high-quality meats that melted in our mouths. The chicken gyoza with juicy and flavourful filling inside packed a lot of flavours while the wakame seaweed had a refreshing taste with a hint of natural saltiness and not overly fish. For the meat cuts, which was the highlight of our meal, we had the premium kalbi short rib, the yakishabu, triple angus platter and nakaochi which came in a beautifully arranged platter of marbled beef cuts. Though not your A5-grade marbling cuts, these still melt in your mouth with every bite and they came served with a side of dipping sauces. We also had white rice, crispy seaweed and assorted vegetables to accompany our mains. Overall the food and experience was divine.

If you're looking for a delicious, enjoyable, and memorable place to eat with hands on grilling experience, Kintan is definitely worth a visit. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable. We will be back for sure and I'll be recommending it to...

During my recent visit on Saturday The food was very delicious, and I really enjoyed it, but I had an issue with the person at the reservation desk. When I arrived, I told him I had a reservation. he responded no reservation under your name. I replied that I made a reservation through a call but he said that the reservation was through the website only , but I explained that someone had answered my call and confirmed it. I showed him proof that I had called the right number , but he replied rudely, saying "What do you want me to do?" " I am not the person who took your call"😅😅

When I asked for the manager to resolve the issue, he said he was the supervisor but continued to evade responsibility. When I firmly told him to solve the issue since he said he was the supervisor, he finally told us to wait and let us in after a while. The problem got fixed and the food was so good , but his attitude how he spoke and his overall behavior was completely unprofessional. Honestly, if he hadn’t been so rude, I wouldn’t even be writing this review.
