This restaurant is found near the metro station. The entrance door is very huge and unique. Walking into the restaurant was like entering a museum, it seems to be decorated with traditional art and pieces. The dining area itself is to be found on the second floor. The tables are also suited for groups with 5-10 persons. The waiters were all very friendly and attentive. We got a welcome traditional arabic coffee and dates. We didn’t know what to choose so we ended up ordering too much. But everything was so delicious. We had a lentil soup and two other appetisers. And two main dishes to split for 3 people, it would have been enough for 5 people I guess. I never tasted a rice dish like that before. It was so colourful and fragrant. The meat was tender and very well seasoned. The second dish was with chicken and a kind of rice porridge. We enjoyed both, I personally preferred the meat dish more. And ask for their bread too, it’s freshly made and warm. To end our meal we tried the date cake with ice cream. It was so good. A little too sweet though.
