Restaurant smelled of spoiled seafood and frying oil. Tried to ignore the smell but the stench was horrible and it was everywhere. I decided to give it a chance and thought the food couldn't be terrible. I was proven wrong, unfortunately. I ordered the miso soup and it was okay I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I then ordered the sushi sashimi combination which consisted of tuna, salmon, shrimp, and scallop sushi which came with a side of soy sauce and horse radish. I honestly don't know where to start. The soy sauce smelled very odd and was wayyy to salty. Usually, tuna is supposed to be a vibrant red color, in this case it was GREY!!! I tried it anyway because i thought it couldn't be as bad as it looks. Not only did it taste stale, it had a mushy consistency which is not normal at all??? The salmon also lacked color, but was acceptable. The scallop was insanely disgusting, if i'm gonna be honest. The shrimp was ice cold and very obviously stale. I doubt anything they ever serve has been prepared rather than taken out of the fridge ready to serve. Not only was their food disgusting, it gave me food poisoning as well. *note 1: someone who was dining with us today was vegan, so they were considerate towards this matter and the chef worked around it for us🙌🏼

(there are not MANY vegan options, but for some recommendations we ordered: cucumber maki, avocado maki, miso soup, salad, vegetable rice without the butter, and cooked vegetables also with no butter)

*note 2: we noticed that our table did not really get cleaned during our stay/the empty plates were not removed or cleared until we were paying the bill, which was a bit inconvenient as it got quite cluttered.

however, there is a bell you can ring for instant service to your table.

*note 3: i don’t know if this is worth mentioning but we noticed that the chef was a bit late in arriving to our table. perhaps it took a while to prepare the order ingredients beforehand but it was still a bit strange.
