first, i’m gonna do you all a favor and explain the iced coffees in case you were wondering like i was:

⏰ iced wake up: strong, blended latte (3 shots) sweet (includes frap powder)

🍫 iced togo latte: chocolate-flavored sweet + creamy latte (1 shot) (includes: chocolate powder, cocoa powder, light vanilla cream sauce)

☕️ iced pick latte: basically pick’s take on a spanish latte (2 shots) (includes: white vanilla cream sauce)

🍦 iced vanilla latte: vanilla mi (milk infused with vanilla beans) + ground coffee beans sweetness level: light espresso: small size (1 shot) big size (2 shots)

by the way, this was all explained to me by a very helpful and sweet staff member, i didn’t get his name though. anyways, you’re welcome.

okay, first things first, we’ve all heard amazing things about PICK. i’ve always wanted to try it and finally got the chance.

i tried their iced matcha latte, and i was dying to love it like everyone else. keep in mind i like sweet drinks but also the taste of matcha. unfortunately, the drink tasted of neither🤣 it tasted like pure milk. and i’m noticing from the pictures here that other photos of the matcha are more pigmented than mine was, so maybe it was an accident; and i’m really hoping it was because i want to give it another try.

i also ordered the chicken rocca sandwich. you get amazing cheese pulls with every bite🤤 it was lacking some flavor and seasoning but still was good.

what’s great about this place is that they are so transparent with their foods and you can see the details for all the ingredients and nutritional info on every single item. the staff are extremely helpful and well-educated on their selection so you could definitely ask them about anything you want and i’m sure they’d answer you perfectly.

i visited PICK twice so far and the reason i didn’t review it from the first time is because i wanted to be fair. the place has so much potential and there were still many items i wanted to try before i could give it any review. i tried it again today just to be sure of my thoughts on it.

i ordered the iced PICK latte, and their mozzarella sandwich. i loved the sandwich and would definitely recommend it. it’s light and delicious. but the latte had the same problem as the matcha, unfortunately the milk was overpowering it. again, it felt like i was drinking pure milk even though i told the person taking my order i wanted it extra sweet. (it wasn’t)

so my experiences with the drinks sadly weren’t the best and i’m genuinely disappointed because i really wanted to like their drinks.

the place itself radiates such an amazing energy and puts you in such a happy, refreshing mood. the workers’ energy is everything. they’re cheerful, helpful and veryy friendly.

i love what the place stands for, and it’s one of the extremely few places we have in riyadh with this lovely concept (which i’m all for) but.. the drinks kind of disappointed me. i would come back to give it a third try because i really don’t wanna settle for these experiences.

staff, ambience, interior, cleanliness, concept, prices are alllll a 5/5 but the drinks were just💔

i also hope they add more vegan options in the future. there is a lot of potential for this, considering the motive behind the place.

SERVICE AND STAFF: was good and accommodating as well advised which best choices and best seller.

PLACE AND ATMOSPHERE: was cozy place and comfortable as well has different type of tables to set in and good lights.

TASTE, QUALITY AND VARIETY: test was ok, quality was acceptable, they have different varity of flavors to chose from, however, it was too sweet which i am not sure if it was truly sugarless or Not, as for the dark chocolate which supposed to be real dark chocolate sugarless, as they wrote and the staff confirmed saying yeah there is no sugar in, but after all it was JUST NUTELLA CHOCOLATE WHICH WAS SO SWEET, that's what made me give 2 STARS, cause they kinda lost credibility with such thing, jeopardize people's health and someone could have a serious health issues specially diabetics.

COST AND PRICE: the price is slightly high for the such small portion of frozen yogurt.

CLEANING AND HYGIENE: the place seemed to be clean, No Flys No insects spotted around.

*Would i go for second time?

I don't think So as i didn't like the fact that they were hiding the fact of sugar containing in their flavors..

Would i recommend it for others??

I am a very big fan of pick and have been going ever since it opened. Today I was so disappointed , first of all they only accepted cash which does not make any sense since it is very uncommon for anyone to carry cash these days, second of all I had ordered matcha and accidentally dropped it on the floor. I expected for the barista to make me a new one since it was an honest mistake, and I was waiting to realize that he was not going to make me a new one, when I asked him he had told me that I needed to talk to the manager and that I wasn’t careful. All of this had happened while the barista had an awful attitude, and when I had finally convinced them to make me a new one, it tasted awful. This is my first time getting pick matcha and not being able to drink it from how bad it tasted and it tasted like they had used old milk. What i have to say is that i am extremely...
