Unfortunately, I’m not fully satisfied with the results. Although the hairstylist is a very nice lady and seems professional, she didn’t know how to achieve ash blonde hair — at least in my case. The color is not what I had in mind. I even had to come back to redo the color and was charged again. I ended up spending almost 1,400 SAR, which really wasn’t worth it.

On the first day, I asked for a very ash blonde color. The hairstylist bleached my hair well, and I was happy with the bleaching — it lifted nicely to level 8. However, the coloring didn’t turn out right because she said she didn’t have the ash shade 8.1 I asked for. Instead, she used a mix of natural 8 and 7, which turned the hair very warm and golden-orangey — as expected, because natural shades don’t neutralize warmth after bleaching.

(I also paid extra for Olaplex during this visit — it wasn’t complimentary as claimed in your response.) I later tried toning the hair at home to get an ash tone, since it wasn’t toned at the salon, but it only made things worse and darker. I informed the salon and asked for help.

When I came back for a full color correction, I found out that 8.11 was available — which in my opinion should’ve been used right after bleaching, especially if 8.1 wasn’t in stock. It would have saved my hair from going through unnecessary correction, toning, and re-coloring. After applying 8.11, the result looked a bit better but still not as it should have, since the hair was already darkened. Also, Olaplex wasn’t used this time either — only a L'Oréal vitamin mask, which I assume was complimentary.

Overall, my hair now looks brassy in sunlight and the color is just not flattering. I’m really sad that the correct color wasn’t applied after bleaching, and that I wasn’t informed about the better option (8.11) from the start. It would’ve made all the difference.

THE BEST SALON I HAVE BEEN IN RIYADH! I have thin european hair and I’m very scared to use salons in saudi as arabic girls have thicker hair so most of salons use harsh for my hair products. In ash beauty lounge you meet highly qualified staff who colored my hair without damaging or causing me any rash. The hair colourist chose a perfect color - this is definitely the best hair color I got in Saudi Arabia! I love it! Now let’s talk about hair extensions. This is my review after one month of wearing them. Nothing falls, hair is beautiful, easy to take care of. I used to wear extensions done back in Europe and I can say this salon is even better - girls really know what they are doing! I brush my hair without damaging hair brush for extensions, i use oil for ends, i sleep with braids - and there is no tangles, everything is just perfect as if it’s your natural hair! I used also heatless curls method and the you can’t tell I wear extentions! The hair look so natural and perfect. I spend 2 weeks in humid island, going to pool, beach being on sun - nothing faded nothing got destroyed! Girls in salon are so friendly so polite.
