It was a busy Friday night when I visited Alchemy with friends. The interior is charming and quaint. There were around 10 tables or more with a mix of regular chairs and sofas that for me looked inviting and relaxing.
It was very nice that the female Cashier was very fluent in English. It is a rarity in most establishments lately. Since I do not speak Arabic, the experience usually gets frustrating at times when the staff could not understand me well. But that night at Alchemy, it was good.

Scene/vibe/environment, 1/5: Went there before Isha salah during Ramadan, and the place was near-empty and seats were oddly stacked near the entrance and it was tough to tell if they were still in business, or closed, or what. Service: 0/5 barista was uncaring.
Food: 1/5 ordered a cappuccino. The steamed milk quality was excellent, but the espresso was either excessively pulled or the beans were just not to my liking — too, too sour. For reference, I love...

Pistachio cake was a good try even though it was one of the very few choices. Based at n the service and the drinks quality, I think their menu...
