I dropped in for coffee and treats at Paul’s in Riyadh Gallery Mall and left impressed. The hot coffee was rich and carefully brewed, perfect to pair with two cakes I chose — a smooth chocolate cake that was decadently moist, and a carrot cake that felt fresh, flavorful and well-balanced in sweetness. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I’ve been to other branches and they’re really good but this one was just not it. I got hot drinks but they weren’t even warm! Secondly there was no menu. Thirdly when I ordered cheese croissant even that wasn’t warm on top of that they gave plastic utensils making it hard to cut it. The only good thing about this branch was the customer service, they were kind enough to reheat the coffee. If you want to try out Paul, try some other...
