Piatto Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

This was our first time dining out with the whole COVID-19 situation. We chose Piatto because first of all we LOVE it, the whole family absolutely loves it. Second of all, it’s a place we trust and that’s huge especially these days. You go to the place, take your kids and dine comfortably knowing that they have your best interest at heart. FOOD:The food is the same but BETTER. New items, old beloved dishes and improved plating. Fresh and delicious as usual. STAFF: no one beats the hospitality at Piatto. The waiters are very attentive, all smiles with great attitude, know the menu well and serve with joy. Meeting the managers at Piatto tells you the secret behind the wonderful service. Mr. Bishnu Gurung is the absolute model of what a manager should be. Welcoming, pays great attention to details and very hands on with his team. Mr. Buddhi (Qurtobah location)has always been a wonderful host who always made sure his guests were full and happy. His hospitality is one of the main reasons we choose Piatto every time. Piatto you win at management👏🏻 ATMOSPHERE: the restaurant after renovation is something like nothing we have seen before. We’re big foodies, we’ve traveled a lot and been to many restaurants around the world. This location is the most amazing restaurant we have been to, period. Elegant, inviting and comfortable. It has something for everyone and every taste. You have kids? They are going to LOVE the place especially the area were they can play chefs. You’re a group of adults who wants to spend a peaceful night out? Piatto has got you covered. You’re looking for a picture worthy food and location look no further. And the Library area is your place if you’re looking for a time with a book, a dish and a smile. Piatto,from our family to yours, we love you.

Second time to this place. So there was a promo that is why I went with a friend (the same friend who asked me to go with him to the very same place to eat because there was a promotion). And I am back but this time I ordered the salmon from the promo menu and it comes with vegetables. We humbly asked if we can change it to something else like a pasta, and the gentleman agreed to replace what comes with our menu. Yes it was pricey but the offer was great. It had unlimited drinks, you can choose a soda or a mojito, there was also an added salad, bread, and a dessert which is a gelato. The serving was really superb. If you don't eat a lot, it could be good for 2 people already. I had my mistake during my first time to eat here because I thought the pasta that would be served would be little, but I was wrong. So going back, I did taste the steak that my friend ordered and it was superb. It can rival my favorite steak restaurants. The pasta, which is a carbonara, really is satifying to eat. At first look it might taste bland but I was wrong. The sauce was hidden. But even if there was no sauce with it, the firmness and the taste of the pasta was really good. I can just add the tomato soup that came with the bread. The ambience of the place feels cozy even if it looks spacious. It has a very Italian vibe to it. We were advised that there would be a regular promo so we need to watch out for their offers. If you are on a budget, I would recommend to bring a friend with you and get the available promo but if you have a money to shell out or doesn't mind the price, well go ahead and dig in. You will not be sorry. Right now, it feels like I don't like...

Last time when i visited Riyadh, we happened to have lunch to this cool place named Piatto Restaurant.

The atmosphere is very nice, and we opted to seat on the second floor of the area.

When eating there, there will be an unlimited salad and soup bar. Great selection of salads and usually 2 choices of soup-lentil soup and tomato soup which i find very creamy and will definitely open your appetite for what you will be having next.

As for the appetizer, we were supposed to have the artichoke one, however, they ran out of it so we chose Truffle Mac and Cheese Balls. It was 4 pieces and good for sharing and it was a delight. My husband even finished his share in seconds!

For our main dish, we both had the Steak Pizzaiola which are grilled rib eye steak with spaghetti in marinara sauce. I did love the way it tasted and the servings are quite big for me and i ended up taking my left over home.

We had a medium sized pizza that the waiter gracefully offered to have 2 flavors on it, we had pepperoni and their best-seller chicken peri-peri. Unfortunately, our pizza came late as they have missed our order. So we had it on a take out box and enjoyed it at home as a late snack. But i think i would have liked it more if i had it freshly cooked.

During that day, they have an offer for their unlimited very refreshing in-house blend iced tea for just 10sr!

To finish off our meal, we had their famous ice cream gelato- creamy, rich and smooth.

Over all, it was a very pleasant and satisfying lunch.

And by the way, before leaving, we happened to pass by an area where kiddos are doing their own pizza and a play area for them...
