At first glance, I was happy about my order seeing the restaurant added some extra soy sauce, wasabi and ginger. However, a bitter disappointment followed as soon as I opened the sushi box and had my first bite of tuna hosomaki. I don't know if they just had a bad day in the kitchen or this is a practice for deliveries but I've never eaten a worse sushi in my entire life. Even the one from Lidl has a better taste. You have one job when you make sushi and that is to ensure you have fresh and quality ingredients. I've ordered tuna hosomaki and the fish was so old that it could not be eaten. Had to give it to the neighbor's cat. Salmon uramaki was ok, not great not terrible. At least the salmon came in one piece. The price was not that high as they had a special offer on Wolt. Probably the discounted price should have served me as a warning. Still, I don't think this can really justify using old leftover fish...
Read more🚬 NOT a fan of smoking inside the restaurant. The excellent food prepared with skill and fresh (!) ingredients by the chef is (literally) clouded by cigarette smoke. I love the selection of different kinds of sushi, and miso soup is a must-have. I would prefer to have miso soup in a small cup that you can drink out of during your meal (as is custom in Japan), but I understand that the local custom is to first eat soup, then enjoy the rest. I would also prefer to have ice cream as a dessert option (matcha, vanilla) because the sweet sushi doesn't seem appetising. The spicy tuna tartar is seriously good and not too spicy either. Please do not allow smoking inside. It ruins the experience for people who are actually there to...
