The hotel is very nice and clean, staff is helpful, friendly, and not least, young and pretty. Breakfast is not extremely rich but is delicious (at least the freshly cooked stuff, mayo looked suspicious). As for the location and view, it’s a big disadvantage - far from city centre, and my room is facing towards another part of the building. To top that, air con is set to 26 degrees Centigrade and there is no way to change it. However, if you open the balcony you enjoy the loudest chiller in production, working nonstop at 50 dB. Tiny buttons on the air con controller allow you to display a digital sign on your door if you want your room to be cleaned or if you want privacy. No need to use it though, because they will enter your room independent of the chosen setting. My room is medium sized, with a long and narrow bathroom and a bump down the middle of the double bed, because there are two single matresses on it. The place is recently built and has some interesting design ideas and combinations of materials. The styrofoam ornaments all over the ceilings look almost like construction elements. There is no decaf coffee at the bar, neither desserts, but smoking is allowed, when the non smoking signs on the tables are covered with ashtrays. If it weren’t for the staff, I would have given it a bit lower score. When I couldn’t find slippers in the room I got them personally from the receptionist immediately right after I assured her they were missing. The tall bartender with turquoise coloured nails is very polite and quick. Standardisation of serving is a minor issue, as you get honey with your tea depending on which person is serving it. The same is valid for the rooms, two days I had instant coffee without sugar and today there are packages with sugar in them. There is a kettle to make the coffee and tea but no sugar or cream. The minibar contains only drinks and was refreshed only the first two days but if you are brave enough you can have tap water with just a hint of white colour from the carbonates and chlorine and a strong aftertaste of oxidised iron from the pipes. Nevertheless, the overall experience from my stay is leaning towards pleasant. You might be lucky to have another room.||I am looking forward to visit again and I hope you can take some of my remarks in...

Read moreWhat a great find! This was our first visit to Serbia and, to be honest, didn't know what to expect.||We chose this hotel mainly because of the location as we were visiting friends and they live close by.||However, we are so glad we booked the Xenon and cannot wait to return. ||First of all, the location is great! There are a good few cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the area and we felt safe walking around at all times. We walked into the city centre on Saturday morning but took a taxi there in the evenings which are an 'Uber' style set up and very cheap as well as convenient.||The hotel itself is very elegantly decorated throughout, including the bedrooms, and spotlessly clean at all times. The spa is wonderful. It is small but very quiet and you can book a spa day if you are not staying here which we did as a gift for our friends to enjoy after we left. I spent an afternoon between the hot tub and pool with a book whilst my husband enjoyed a deep tissue massage which the lovely reception team booked for him.||Aside from all of the positive things written above, I have to mention what really makes this hotel stand out and that is the team onsite! From our greeting at reception to the staff that look after the lounge, bar and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone spoke perfect English which was amazing. ||||We arrived as guests and felt that we left as friends!||||Thank you everyone. We...
