Mi Đa House — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

I have to say that I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in MiDa House. Excellent food. I am a South Indian (from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh) and a Vegan and I was facing challenges to find vegan food in Belgrade. Luckily, i met Milos and Maggie and they prepared delicious customized vegan food for me (mix of Korean and Chinese cuisine. Though i couldn't remember dish names :-P). Considering the quality, the price is very reasonable. The food is very tasty and the rice quality is simply amazing. I was so fortunate to have this place and to meet the restaurant owners during my visit to Belgrade. The couple (Milos and Maggie) are very friendly and they can customize the food you eat. They speak English very well too. I definitely recommend this place for everyone. Just visit this restaurant and tell them your requirements. They will customize for you and can prepare good food for you.

Also, Milos is a wonderful person to meet and a great guide too. He was my tour guide and shown me the best of Serbia in two days. During your visit to Belgrade, just meet this amazing man and plan your tour itinerary with them. You will have great memories before leaving Serbia :-)

What a gem in our neighbourhood! Domestic, homemade Korean and Chinese kitchen, with selected dishes and original owners kimchi recipe. So glad to avoid fast food / popular stuff and try slow food prepared by original recipes. This was our first visit, but we'll keep coming back definitely. Kimchi is mild, I would personally like a hotter taste, but I think this was a majority request 🌶 Dishes/meals are quite big, so think about sharing with someone, ideal for a larger company to have a lunch or dinner, for sharing&tasting different meals. We decided to go with Korean meals this time, so we started with soya soup with beef, tofu and variety of vegetables plus rice, then shared a speciality Bibimbap (mixed rice with meat and assorted vegetables), and added one Korean Hotteok ("uštipak") for a nice finish! My friend and I ordered delivery. At first sight, I was disappointed.

It looked like cafeteria food. It was served in a compartment plate so the rice wasn't able to stay warm.

The meat was lukewarm, but it wasn't good. There was no Bulogi sauce. We got the rice wet and edible with the grease from the meat. But the meat just tasted like something I'd make for salt and pepper steak at home. But really the taste was nothing but soy sauce. I thought I was getting Bulogi.

The kimchee was ok. As a sauerkraut snob, I do not like too spicey cabbage.
