Walter BBQ - Novi Sad — Restaurant in City of Novi Sad

Walter BBQ is a great place for a satisfying dinner in Promenada. This visit was much better compared to my experience at their Galerija Mall location in Belgrade. When I arrived, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and I easily found a comfortable table. The waitress was very polite and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe.

The food was excellent. I started with a fresh salad, which was good, although the Hot Pepper was a bit too intense for me (seriously, it was fiery—why did I even try it? 😄). For my main course, I ordered the chicken strips. They served 250g of tender chicken fillet in half a homemade flatbread—this combination was delicious and incredibly satisfying.

I also had a side of spicy potato wedges, which were amazing and added the perfect kick to the meal.

Review: Disappointing Service Despite Good Food

I recently visited Walter BBQ at the Promenada Mall in Novi Sad, and unfortunately, my experience with the service was far from pleasant. To put it mildly, the service was poor, and the staff were incredibly rude to us. I understand that the restaurant was busy at the time, but that’s no excuse for the way we were treated.

We waited over 45 minutes for our order, which is quite excessive. While I must say that the food was truly delicious and we were satisfied with the taste, the behavior of the staff left a lot to be desired. Their attitude made the whole experience unpleasant.

Good food should be complemented by good service, and I hope the management addresses this issue. I would hesitate to return given how we were treated, despite the quality...

The worst poised food ever served - we were hospitalised and had a drip with medication. Constantly throwing up. The cevap served to us first time was completely raw. We complained and they reserved us new cevap which was the same being raw. We gave up and ate a little bit. They were insulted and wanted to quiten us at the counter.
