Simple Caffe & Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Vranje

This place looks amazing. Food is good. Can do better. But the service is bad. I was there for 2 days in a row. The first day was fine. I liked the place, food was good, and the drinks. But on the second day, we ordered food. We were in a rush that day. We had approx 2h. For food it took over an hour. I called the waiter. She kept telling us I will check.. she never did, kept being busy with other people. The table next to us asked her the same. And after a while she went to the kitchen and brought our food and the food from the next table. It was cold. You can tell that it was done a way before she brought to us. And we got the food at the same time from the guys next table. They came a while after us. Horrible service. Please make it right. Its a nice place it would be such a shame to have...

The food was OK, but the service was very disappointing. When we paid by card, we realized the bill was almost double. The waitress (Iovana/Ivana) added 3 extra dishes, trying to overcharge us by about €24. At first, she only gave us the POS receipt, not the detailed bill. When we insisted, she suddenly became nervous and pretended not to understand English anymore, telling us to speak Serbian instead. Finally, she left and called another colleague, who admitted the mistake and returned the extra money.

Nice and modern place in the center of Vranje. Service was great. We came at 10.15 and they greeted us, but before tacking order double confirmed we know they are closing at 11.00. Despite of the closing time, we were served with crapes and waffle. Portions are big and full of cream as well tasted ok.

We came back for lunch and confirmed 4 star review. Service was great again.
