Came here for lunch. This branch opens at 12noon. We weren't supposed to have lunch here so it was a last minute change of venue. Unsure of the crowd and wanted to make sure it is available for lunch, used the WhatsApp for reservation from the main website but no response. So called, to check. I would say the tone wasn't that welcoming (for a start of the business!), sounded a little bored.
Location: Enough parking (maybe it's lunch time) There are a few other eating places around. Probably best to drive to this place Nestled around the seletar aerospace area, this is a cool hideout. 😎
Ambience: Selected this place because wanted a quieter and chill out area. It is very nice as it's cosy and different from malls or noisy restaurants. Like it. 👍
Service: The server is average, I don't qualify as good service overall. There wasn't much diners, yet I am surprised at the hospitality level. It was to me, a less enthusiastic servers and 'sian'. Less smiley. Attentive level can be better. I mean, having been to other branches and restaurants, happy and smiley servers make diners really good and happy, so I was a little disappointed here, despite it's not busy, Service level is not as great.
When we ordered the dessert, while waiting, the table was dirty after the plates were removed, and we had to request for table to be cleaned for dessert. I find the restaurant could do better to make sure we have a good meal.
Food and taste: The fries! So much fries! And too salty. Would be good they gave variety like more greens or potatoes Mash etc.
The ribeye steak is not cooked to desired doneness.
All the dishes can be less salty.
Portion : very good and the fish and chips! Omg so huge.
The Crispy squid : too salty and very little meat. Lots of fried flour. This is not valuable dish in this case.
The lava cake is very well presented. There's a soury taste of the chocolate in the lava. Suspect it's they mixed the passion friut Utensils or something so the taste. Overall this lava cake is superb despite the stint of the sour after taste (its not that it went bad for sure).
We like the place offer sampler for beers. Great idea. There's also a mini cuisine set, brilliant idea!
Toilet: One at the back of the building. I was surprised it ran out of toilet paper, even though they just open for the day just 1hr and less crowd.... hmmm something I am sure the branch can be more Attentive to such details.
Will I return? Maybe.. .If I return, probably just for the ambience and beer? But then, I am sure if that's the case, one can find similar places with better service and food taste. Perhaps this branch...
Read moreAn overdue visit to the latest (?) Brewerkz establishment accompanied by our two dogs as we were planning a walk around the Seletar estate before dinner. The thing about B is that they have their model well defined (in a good way) and you pretty much know what you are going to get, so I was looking forward to this
The Seletar version has a laid back ambience reflective of the surroundings. The large terrace on the side gives ample outside seating options. However on the night we went it had light rain which highlighted the limitations of no canopy or table umbrellas. The team helped set up a small table under the awnings by the toilets. Not ideal but they did their best ( thank you).
I had checked the menu in advance. Interestingly each of the 6 outlets appears to have its own menu (some shared dishes). I'm not quite sure why/how this would be unless then BW team have identified some regional differences in preference /sales. As this was a quick excursion we opted for the Jambalaya Stew and Pulled Pork on Sourdough paired with a glass of house Chardonnay and Golden Ale
The Jambalaya arrived on a plate in what looked like a de-constructed version with separate chicken leg, sausage, prawn and rice sans the stew broth. A request for more broth was quickly met and overall the flavours hit an 'average'.
The Pulled Pork was better received, Fullsome and flavoursome. Only personal critique would be the kale salad drowned in dressing.
Inside the restaurant was busy, probably full by 8pm? And the staff worked hard to get round the tables. It looks like a good team.
The rain was coming back so we decided to skip dessert this time and that's a good reason to go back and try something else on the menu.
There are a couple of options in the locality . Brewerkz is a...

🟠 My husband and I visited Brewerkz cafe on a scorching hot Sunday afternoon on 4th May 2025 at about 4 pm.
🔷️ Brewerkz cafe here at Seletar Aerospace Park is nestled in a charming large colonial-era house.
🌳 The verdant & lush surroundings were truly lovely. ▪︎The peace, quiet and greenery at this rural area was a welcome respite from the frenetic suburban area where I lived at.
● The food was delicious. We had the: 🟠 Crispy Peppercorn Chicken with Szechuan spice. The fried battered chicken pieces were crispy on the outside, succulent & flavourful.
🟤 The Truffle Cheese Croquettes with Gouda cheese, truffle honey, and truffle mayo were also a hit, priced at $14.
🟤 The Iced Cafe Lattes were a refreshing beverage to our meal, priced reasonably at $7. ➡️ I asked for one expresso shot & more milk for my Cafe Latte, and Daryl and his team mate crafted the milk coffees exactly to our liking.
🔵 I'm pleased with the service attitude of the 2 staff there, namely Daryl and another staff member. ● They were both very polite, cheerful, genuine and affable.
🔵 We loved the small bites we had here, and we look forward to coming back again for the mains the next time in the near future.
🟨 Thank You Daryl and your team mate for your kind and wonderful service earlier on.
●From Florence & Hui Huat 🔵...
