We went for their 1st Anniversary promotions on 15th Dec at around 1.20pm, ordered the $1 tacos (about 6 at first) but waited until 1.50pm for the first three to arrive. That was only after we had to ask twice why it was taking so long - the first time the server didn't even get back to us. As it was reaching the end of the 1pm - $1 tacos promotion, we ordered more in case our hunger still wasn't satisfied.
Having finished the three surprisingly small tacos (which led us to wonder even more why they were taking so long) quickly, we were seeing other tables who came later get served their orders many times. So we asked again for the third time, and even then only half of it arrived. We were still waiting for the rest.
Only after asking where the rest were at about 2.20pm did they reveal they had a printer error in the kitchen which was not even notified to us. I had to explicitly ask whether our orders were even keyed in in the first place.
As we finished and were ready to pay and leave, they threw us another unpleasant surprise; the beer we expressly ordered (weekend $6 Coronita promo) was mistakenly keyed as the Corona ($12) which we were served instead, but didn't realise. These two beers look and probably taste the same but we were given the unreasonably more expensive one. We were frustrated but wanted to leave as soon as possible, so we paid and left promptly.
Food was mediocre and decent at best, although not worth their original prices. Drinks had they been served correctly would have been alright. But the service really takes the cake - poor, disorganised, lacking in awareness and responsibility to notify customers promptly when they see that no food has arrived after so long (we were seated at the table literally in front of the cashier counter and in clear view of the servers walking back and forth from the kitchen to the tables).
Overall - we would not return and would discourage others from having to go through the bad service that we did. Portion is small, prices are high, service is...

As I got closer the music got clearer and the brightly coloured furniture painted the way to what turned out to be a quirky Mexican restaurant with a, wait for it..........DJ slinging beats and fist bumping the sky like he was challenging the Gods to a biff. The 3 of us were ushered to a seat, I saw a beer tower.....was this love?? It must be! I ordered the tower, a chimi Chunga and some fries. Nec minnit DJ Maverick is at the table taking song requests allowing me to relive my youth through early 2000s hip hop, then Cash the owner comes and introduces himself and makes sure everything is up to standard and everyone is wearing and upside down frown.
Part of me wanted to leap on my table and attempt dance moves Iâd only seen in movies, part of me wanted to move to Singapore just to establish this place as my local but alas to NZ I had to return to fight the Orcs and keep the hobbits safe.
But should you ever stumble upon this magical place just remember fate has bought you there and you will have a good time!!!
If you donât have a good time itâs probably time to re-evaluate...
