Highly NOT recommended!!

Price - More than $80 per pax. It's not worth it. Read on below

Atmosphere - Decent view of MBS but nothing fanciful during daytime. The full windows make the environment hot and there will be lots of tourists taking photos which can be disturbing. The high chair is not comfortable and the table is too small, considering there is a high tea setup and 2 teapots to be placed on the table.

Food - The savouries are decent but nothing amazing. One selection is a cucumber sandwich though, is that worth more than $80? The sweets are not so good. 5 out of 6 sweet options are the same kind of desserts (Cream filled with fruits filling), and the last one is a basic macaron. There should be a variety at least i.e., chocolate based, tart, etc.

Service - I came into the restaurant with a bag and flower. Obviously, there is no space on the table to put my stuff but service is non-existent. I have to specially request if I can have an additional chair to put my stuff. Other restaurants like Ding Tai Fung would have already offered the rack to put our item. When the high tea setup came, the waitress placed our tea pots on the bar table as there was no space on our table. That is fine, but no one helped to refill our tea. We had to walk to the bar table to refill it ourselves. We gave up eventually and so we tried to make space to put our teapots back on the table. Throughout the high tea, we requested numerous times to add hot water for our tea but all of the staff seemed to be very busy. We are quite sure that some actually saw our hands up but simply chose to ignore us. We have to AGAIN bring our teapots to the bar table, requesting for refill. LASTLY AND WORST OF ALL - it wasn't even 6 pm and Waitress A decided to clear our dessert setup. In a rush, she knocked my flowers onto the floor (btw the flowers are specially made using LEGO by my partner) and many pieces broke off. She asked if our flowers were ok (obviously it isn't?). My partner is really unhappy at this point but to be nice, we told her it's fine. We spent the next 30 minutes trying to fix the flowers and again, another waitress came to clear our table without asking. This is blatantly rude. Eventually, we made payment with Waitress A and she said "Thank you and we hope to see you again." Nothing mentioned on the inconvenience caused, no token of apologies. Other restaurants would have already offered a discount. And btw, this booking indicated anniversary celebrations. And there was nothing done by the restaurant. Even Haidilao provides a fruit platter for celebrations.

We were seriously wondering if we had made a fuss at the restaurant, would that have been better for us? Would they give us a discount at least. But well, damage is done. Celebrations ruined. We are never ever...

We made a reservation about a month in advanced for the party who attended our marriage solemnisation. 14 pax at the Landing Point for their afternoon high tea.

It started out with the way they replied my emails. I would ask questions 1,2,3 and 4 and they would reply to question 1. I would then email them again with question 2,3 and 4 and they would reply to question 4 instead of replying to ALL of my enquiries at one go. At one point they addressed me wrongly too. First red flag.

We were about half an hour early (our reservation was 4:45) to our reservation so we thought it’s ok that they were a little slow in rolling out our high tea. So we arrived at about 4:15pm, they sat us down, and no one came to us for about 10mins until I (the bride) started asking one of the staff how we should go around doing this. I then ordered two bottles of champagne and even that took like forever to come! Second red flag!

We had 3 tables, one for the folks, one with me and my friends and another for my hubs and his friends. At About 4:40pm the first fleet of food came to our parents’ table. And only after about 15mins or so it came for my table. At 5:15pm, half an hour after our initial reservation and one hour after our actual arrival, the food still had not arrived for our last table. And when it arrived there were some selections that were repeated because we guessed they ran out of some of the other food. My husband and his friends waited for so long to the point that they were no longer hungry.

In my email I stated that it was our solemnisation day with no expectation of them treating us extra special just because it’s a big day for us. We just had the expectation of great and efficient service because of the Fullerton name but instead got absolutely the opposite! One of the wait staff even asked if it was my birthday when I was wearing all white and despite stating in the email that it was our marriage solemnisation day. That shows the lack of communication between staff to enhance the experience of patrons. The same waitress even started speaking Malay to the parents which I thought was a bit curious because they weren’t Malay and some of them didn’t understand Malay.

While we were happy to spend time with our family and friends and happy we got married, the team at The Landing Point did not make the time spent there special. It was truly disappointing and I wished we chose...

Lovely venue and location. Came as a small group today to celebrate two close friend's Birthdays with their Afternoon Tea set.

I was very disappointed with the very slow pace and disconnected level of service in contrast to the venue. A real shame and let down to what i'd hoped would be a lovely treat.

It took a long time for any drinks to be ordered (15m+ for a few glasses of water). Service staff basically ignored us unless we loudly shouted and waved at them when they eventually passed by our table - Even when we actually got their attention, our drinks took a long time to arrive, were forgotten, or even worse... were completely wrong!

How can you mess up only two or three drinks?

The drinks are no longer free-flow apart from the juice option ($8). Instead you choose either one Tea/Coffee and that's it. Everything else is ++.

The staff also frustratingly kept constantly walking behind, brushing past and bumping two of our chairs to take a short-cut to one of their stations. This was extremely rude and inconsiderate, showing a clear lack of consideration, respect and/or regard for their guests. I had to push my chair back to block the short-cut half way through service to stop this from constantly happening.

The food was also sub-par for a set costing $65++ with too many sweet options containing strange uncomplimentary flavours - For example a waffle containing Scallops, with a strange combination of white chocolate with a pink, fruity filling and pomelo. Very odd and the flavours did not compliment each other at all.

Unfortunately a lot of misses with the food and I wish there were more savoury options, plus simple classics. Too much white chocolate and confusing, clashing sweet flavours.

The scones were nice however and the Birthday cakes they brought to our table with the pianist also playing Happy Birthday for our friends was a thoughtful, nice touch. The pianist looked uninterested and quite obviously like he did not want to be there though.

Colony, ATLAS and other similar offerings are all around much better at this...

Traditional local teh with savory and sweets, good combination. Came few times with different experiences as they change theme every month. To date, the service never fails (to me).

Took afternoon tea at the Landing Point , Fullerton Bay Hotel over the Christmas period. The sitting period was 3.30pm to 6pm. In summary: four stars. Overall nice food and in a good location, but given the price the servings were a bit on the small side and I believe a free drink refill option should be available (not food, just drink) seeing as you have paid for a 2 1/2 hour sitting. Further details are below. The ambience was good with a piano playing in the background, and we had a good view of the bay from our table. The tables for two seemed to have the best bay views, but all tables had a bay view of one kind or another. The service could not be faulted. Attentive, but not in your face. You were served punctually, and they did not rush to clear your plates or make you feel pressured to leave. The food per person: The "starter" were two small scones: one classic scone and one raisin scone. They were nice and fresh and a bit crumbly. A nice texture, but they were a bit on the small side. Also, the provision of cream and jam was a bit on the stingy side. The "main course" were six savoury items and six sweet items. -The presentation was nice. -Two items not particularly enjoyed were the truffle egg mayonnaise on a charcoal sesame bun (a bit dry) and the madras curry turkey , pineapple chutney and smoked paprika (lacking flavour). -The remaining items were very pleasant, but a bit on the small side. To drink - you had a variety of tea and coffee blends to choose from along with some standard coffee options (eg latte, espresso, cappuccino etc). We both took a tea option and were provided with one teapot of drink. This filled about four very small teacups with beverage. In summary: four stars. Overall nice food and in a good location, but given the price the servings were a bit on the small side and I believe a free drink refill option should be available (not food, just drink) seeing as you have paid for a 2 1/2 hour sitting.
