My last visit was back in year 2018 which was quite some time back. This return visit was made as we were looking around for some authentic and delicious thai food. While expecting to be seated outdoors similar to my last visit, we had a chance to visit the upper deck for the alfresco dining area not operable due to the sudden downpour.
The interior was welcoming, giving a garden feel with the splash of Thai culture with their display ornaments. The flooring tiles too.
Upper Level Dining Area
As soon as our orders were sent into the kitchen, the dishes were quickly served onto our tables. We were quite amazed by the speed for there are still patrons ahead of us.
The Fried Seabass with Thai herbs was awesome. The fish was fried to perfection and cut into pieces and drenched with fish sauce and other condiments. The use of dried baby shrimps, small cuts of lime, onions, peanuts, lemon grass and dried chili make the dish appetizing. Moreover, though it was deep fried, they were not greasy at all.
Seabass Thai Herbs - $28
Stuffed chicken wings were fried to golden brown and were plump in size. Pair this finger food with Mustard and sweet spicy thai chili sauce.
Stuffed Wings
Wow, their chicken satay was savoury coated with the sweet sticky black sauce and served with onions as well as cucumbers. Considering the portion of meat, its value worth for money.
Chicken Satay 3 Pcs - $6
The Pineapple Fried Rice with prawns was well executed and tasty with turmeric taste.
Pineapple Fried Rice (Prawns) - $8.50
Though we had ordered the small portion, the portion was rather big and definitely more than enough for 1 pax. We had the beef boat noodle with Kway Teow and the broth was fragrant with lards. Kang Kong and bean sprouts were included too,.
Boat Noodles Beef (Small) - $3.90
Here's the pork version with glass noodles. Although the Thai Boat Noodles spicy level was alter to suit our local taste bud, I would say their Boat Noodles are authentic and carries the kind of taste we are searching for. This is perhaps the best bowl I ever had in...

Was quite disappointed with the food, usually it is decent. Most disappointed in the service staff attitude.
Ordered a deep fried garlic pork rice. It came out extremely dry (as in pics) but I was okay to eat it as I did not want to trouble the staff. Had a few bites of the rice and some black flakes appeared on my spoon. Initially thought it was seasoning so i gobbled it down as I was hungry. Towards the end I realised there were brown flakes too. Great.
Took a closer look and it turnt out to be BUGS! :( We told the staff to check the rice as we were hoping they’ll be thoughtful enough to change the rice out for other customers.
INSTEAD, the waitress pointed out that I had almost finished the meal and gave me a look of doubt. I was honestly quite offended that she would think we did not want to pay? What a joke.
Another staff came out to apologise after I asked to speak to a manager and waived the meal, but money was NEVER the issue. We weren’t even upset to find bugs in the food, we just wanted to alert the staff so they could act accordingly. Frankly, I’m very disappointed in the response of the lady.
Please watch out for BUGS in your food before eating. If you’re okay with extra unknown...
Read moreFriend told me he read raving reviews on this place, so we decided to try it out. Not the most pleasant experience - service wise.
Firstly, the Thai staff understood English, but not the other staff from China. I'm okay, but she doesn't seem to know the menu and kitchen at all. I ordered the char siew with steamed chicken rice, and she kept nodding and saying OK. The order ended up wrong, with roasted pork and char siew instead of my steamed chicken. Told the Thai staff, she said they didn't have steam chicken that day... 😑
The Thai iced tea. Gosh... It was so bloody sweet I couldn't even stomach another sip after my initial mouthful. What made it worse was we requested for less sweetness. Poured out half, topped it up with water. Perfect.
Food wise, they were generally good. The rice were filled to the brim like a mountain, and the char siew + roasted pork were alright. The boat noodles really resonated with us. It was a home run. The soup was really tasty and lingered in our taste buds even after leaving. The portion of the noodles were just right too.
Also, the interior decor was really chic! Check out the...
