Absolutely amazing stay — full of history, heritage, and luxury!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Fullerton Singapore, and it was everything I dreamed of and more. This hotel isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s an experience rooted in Singapore’s rich heritage, while offering all the modern luxuries you’d expect from a top-tier property.

I stayed in their incredible duplex suite, which was beyond luxurious. The suite came with a private balcony boasting unmatched views of the Marina Bay area — I could even see the Merlion statue right in front of me! Inside, the space was thoughtfully designed and expansive, featuring a separate dining room, elegant living room, and a beautiful bedroom with a stunning double-height void. The bathroom? It had a bathtub with panoramic views — soaking in there felt surreal.

The pool area was a real highlight too — a unique blend of heritage architecture with the modern skyline towering in the background. Super photogenic and peaceful.

🍽️ Dining: Breakfast at The Straits Club was such a treat — complete with champagne service! The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. I returned to The Straits Club for cocktail hour and it was the perfect pre-dinner wind-down spot. For dinner, I enjoyed the crab-themed buffet at Town Restaurant — absolutely delicious and so worth it. The variety and quality were top-notch! I also had a lovely Heritage Afternoon Tea at The Courtyard — beautifully presented and rich in traditional local flavors. A must-try. One of the most unique aspects of staying here was exploring the hotel’s Monument Tour, which takes you through parts of the building's historic past — a lovely touch that really adds meaning to your stay.

On top of it all, the location is perfect — right in the heart of Singapore, close to everything. And the service? Truly exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can really feel the pride they take in this iconic property.

Update 2025:

Quite disappointed to say the least. We booked a heritage room with Expedia and were assigned to level 3. The staycation experience was a let-down due to a few hiccups. (1) Temperature of the shower / bath tub was warm at best, no where close to 38 degrees. (2) We waited a good 15/20 min for new pillow to be sent to the room, and when the pillow came, the instructions was not executed completely (3) Breakfast was a miss with limited selection, and the egg station messed up my order. (4) General hospitality was lacklustre, from checking in to enjoying meals in the town restaurant.

On the positive, the bed and pillow are sufficiently firm and we had a good rest.

Even with the free dining credits that come with the room booking, I won't be returning anytime soon.

2018: Wow was literally the first thing I had in my mind when I was trying to pen down this review. Anything less would not have paid due justice to how great the ambience and service both my fiancee and I received over the last 24 hours.

I have been to a couple of hotels this year for both work and leisure, but there is nothing quite like the stay here at the Fullerton Hotel. I had planned for my engagement proposal for a few months since August, and the attention that everyone in this hotel gave throughout was remarkable. The booking was effortless, check in was seamless, and anything you need was delivered with precision and speed (almost always just a phone call away).The night we stayed was beyond what we imagined a luxurious stay would be, but it also felt very personal by the way everyone treated us (from the restaurant to the lounge and the service crew).

A special shout-out to Sharon Ng (reservation manager) who had all the patience in the world to handle my queries at short notice, and arranged everything so expertly when there were some unexpected issues with our original booking at the Fullerton Bay hotel.

The proposal was a big success and my fiancee and I were grateful to have spent it here with such a historical flagship hotel in Singapore.

Celebrated my wife’s 30th birthday and our Honeymoon at Fullerton Hotel. My wife and I were truly amazed with the cleanliness and well-maintained state of the hotel. My room was meticulously clean, and the amenities provided were of the highest quality. The room were decorated for my wife’s birthday and our honeymoon. It was evident that great attention was given to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed, the clean and well-equipped bathroom.

The only issue I encountered during my stay was my wife’s ice cream birthday cake was not stored properly and it was melted when we got it back. However, my issue were addressed promptly and efficiently. Warren demonstrated great attentiveness by swiftly resolving the issue with the utmost professionalism. A brand new cake were delivered to my door step as soon as I got home. It was evident that guest satisfaction is a priority at your hotel.
