Jedna Báseň — Restaurant in Bratislava

Stopping here for lunch menu, this placw is a bit small, so were bit worried whether we get table for five. Fortunately got lucky and one table got free for us. So the stuff was really helpful and we saw that during a lunch time is really busy there and everyone is quick. Got tomato soup, which surprised us with pieces of tomato in good way. My cheese and potatos was delicous, home made tartar sauce, made it perfect. Portions looks smaller, but frankly, after we ate them felt fed up just enough. Definitely come back again and try...

Restauracia Jedna Basen - Dlhe diely. Jedno velke sklamanie! Nechal som sa zlakat ponukou menu slepaci vyvar a svieckova. O 12,30 uz slepaci vyvar nemali, tak som zostal sediet so spolustravnikom kym doje svoju karfiolovu polievku plnu zemiakov, ja som si ju nedal. Na svieckovu, v podstate hotove jedlo, sme cakali na moj vkus dost dlho..kde bol problem nabrat z hrnca svieckovu, 4 knedle a platok masa??!! A to sa este ani nedalo pohodlne opriet na stolickach, kde operadlo tlaci do bokov. V dlhodielskej restauracii Vyhliadka som si dal vyvar a este som ho ani nestihol dojest, uz mi pristal na stole salat s cerstvo vyprazenym reznom! A tam sa na obedove menu premele ine mnozstvo ludi! Pri pohlade na prinesene jedlo mi bolo hned jasne, ze od dobrej svieckovej, resp. svieckovej ma omacka hodne, ale hodne daleko. Nazvem to sladkoocitronovane mrkvove pyre s korenovou zeleninou. Po krajoch taniera sa oddelovala voda zo zeleninovej drene, knedle vodu nasavali a pod nimi zostavala akasi kasa. Vsetkomozne, ale svieckova to nebola. Ani v modernej slovenskej restauracii. Takto sa zahravat s klasikou sa nepatri. Takze v bududcnosti nech v menu uvidim akekolvek lakadlo..nepojdem ho ochutnat....

FOOD Is VERY Good! The terrace is nice and quiet! PRICE IS ALSO VERY GOOD!! However we arrived at 20.30 and when we ordered the food at 21 they told us the Terrace would be closing soon(they could have told us earlier) we had to leave without even finishing our beer and they did not say a single word about this.
