Really enjoyed Indian cuisine in this bistro. It was well adopted to European taste, not too spicy and with quality ingredients. I can really recommend Butter chicken and Mughlai Paneer(very interesting tasty mix of cream, cardamom, nuts and cheese). I consider prices quite high, as normal meal per person will cost you 15 EUR, so dinner for 2 with one drink will cost you around 40 EUR, which is still kind of a high price for bistro in Bratislava. But need to notice again, that taste and quality will not disappoint you. Service was fine, but waiter started to hurry us up to leave even before 21:00. I understand that employees want to leave working place asap, but it is just simple politeness and professionalism to wait 5-10 min, so customers could finish the meal and dress up without feeling that their presence is annoying. Interior is quite simple, bathroom equipment was older, but clean. Overall impression is positive and I can...
Read moreThe food was excellent, freshly cooked. We started with one portion of onion Pakodas (4 pieces just to give it a try) -the batter was soft but crunchy in a same time, the mint sauce bit tangy which was just perfect sweet&sour combination. Naan and paratha straight from the oven, Shrimp Madras-we asked to have it just bit less spicy and the chef matched our wishes exactly-not too spicy but spicy enough; shrimps were cooked perfectly. For the non-meat version we had Paneer and we loved it as well, it was not chewy as in the other places we tried it before. The Lassi made with coconut milk, absolutely refreshing and sweet just enough. We forgot to take pictures of the food but the empty dishes on the pic says it all. The only thing we left behind was the extra 🌶️ sauce because we could not eat it all (that is for brave chili lovers:) Thank you for a...
Read moreJust wow. Best Indian restaurant by far in Bratislava. I was hearing all sorts of amazing feedback about this restaurant even before I visited and oh my, it was well worth the visit. We came in, got seated, served almost immediately even though the place was packed. Both of us decided to pick a Tikka Masala (one with Paneer & one with chicken) which came with a bowl of rice & a beautiful Tandori oven Naan with garlic, butter and cheese. The wait was about 10-15 minues, and we managed to gobble it up in less than 10. The last time I had curry like this was ages ago in Asia! We did have to order a Lasi to knock down the tad bit of spiciness, but thank god we did. As far as Lasi goes this one was an absolute gem. If you're even hungry, in the neighbourhood or simply craving stellar food, hop down to MumBhai central it's more than worth...
