La Simona bistro — Restaurant in Liptovský Mikuláš

While the boys were snowboarding, our mission was to get pizzas. We failed at the first restaurant, they were sold out... And I am so grateful to find this place! The service was so kind! Everyone was smiling, and helpful, I was amazed. I have never experienced this kindness in Slovakia as a Hungarian person. Although we had to wait about 30 minutes for the pizza, it totally worth it. I had high expectations when ordering this pizza, but unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. As you can see in the photo, the pizza was visibly burnt on one side, which affected the overall taste — it was bitter and unpleasant. The ingredients didn’t feel fresh, and the combination just didn’t come together well. The dough was too chewy, and the burnt edges made it almost inedible. Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be coming back or recommending this...

La Simona is the breakfast spot dreams are made of! The Berry Bowl is a solid 11/10 - fresh, flavourful, and a must-try. The Italian coffee is smooth perfection, and freshly squeezed orange juice adds that extra zing!
