Buganka — Restaurant in Nitra

At first the host was beligerent when he saw my 165 pound dog and pipe.. I called a local friend who spoke with him in Slovak and who confirmed our reservation for the Nitra Pipe Club. I usually arrive early to check the kitchen and menu. They didn't have the tomato soup so ordered a penne pasta and a main dish of rabbit livers with onions. They could have caramalized the onions better but then the liver wouldn't have been as moist. Guess it comes down to what you put in the pan first. Dog friendly. Food 🍛: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tastes delicious. I tried their specialty - the Schnitzel Buganka. It tasted good. The potato salad (tradičných zemiakovým šalátom) tastes excellent.

Price 💸: ⭐⭐⭐ Reasonable, considering the ambience, service, and taste.

Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great. The interiors, although a little dark, is pleasing. The walls are full of photos frames.

Service 🛎️: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent. The waiter spoke English, and was polite, attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, they do not have English menu.

I'm so happy we stumbling across this restaurant while driving through neighborhoods and site-seeing in Nitre.
