Restaurant Mihovc — Restaurant in Bohinj

They forgot our orders and mixed them up and we saw many other tables with the same problem. Chewy meat, watery salad and bad service. The waitress didn’t do much to compensate and we regret coming here for our last day in Slovenia.

After reply from owner: Thank you for answering quickly but you might need to consider customer service in your replies. And no we left almost two full salads, an almost full plate of risotto plus more from the other dishes and we tried to see the waiter but that wasn’t an easy task. We got miss placed orders and one of us waited over 20 more minutes for his food. We never demanded a full refund yet simply asked about the watery salad and we got som reducted price. You also promised us a gluten free risotto and when asking at serving we were assured 100% gluten free yet our friend is now in our hotel puking from her gluten intolerance.

So all in all yes we got some reduced price but still we got bad service, disappointing food and no understanding for...

I don't know what happened to this place, eihter the owner changed or they had a really really bad day. The waiter barely spoke to us and communicated mostly by nodding. Language shouldn't be a problem since I am Slovene. The house wine was sour. I would not expect that from a 3,5 eur per dl price tag. Cold starter looked and tasted like the presliced and packed ones bought in a supermarket. Didn't expect to get hungarian salami in a restaurnat that advertises local food. Cheese was OK. Trout fillet had really weird shape for a trout and still raw at the thicker part. Beef rumpsteak was very greasy. The only good food on the plate were side dishes; potatos for rumpsteak and vegetables and polenta that came with the fish. The relaxing easy piano music really struggeled to create a pleasant atmosphere against some turbofolk or, I don't know what that was, and clunking coming from the kitchen. Disappointed we decided to skip...

Can't recommend. Open hours were 12-22 at least the table says it. We came there 19:30. We noticed waiter saying to other coming people that it's closed..but it wasn't! Then another waiter said to the people ..come in, told them it's open and asked them to order. Very strange.. but anyway..we were waiting from 19:30 to 20:15..waiter was passing us by without any interest...then he came to us and told us impleasantly..It's closed. But it wasn't! The restaurant was a half full and people were still ordering and eating. After this experience we decided to leave with no other comments with a strange feeling. Maybe the waiter was just arogant to all people that day or maybe the restaurant does not need guests who spends their money there..who knows..but behave like that to more people and one day there will not be a half full restaurant but empty one. We felt like unwanted there and that's why we will not come there again....
