We arrived around 8.50pm, we waited in the foyer for a waiter. From where we stood there were multiple tables vacant. I would say 60/40 taken and empty. To the right there is a bar where 2 waitresses continued to look our way but at no point greet us, or find us a table. Then 2 or 3 other members of waiting staff walked straight past us without acknowledgement. I appreciate people being busy but to not even say hello and that they would see to us in a minute....odd. Finally, after about 10mins we were taken to a table. We chose our meals and drinks then again proceeded to wait for what felt ages for our order to be taken. Instead a waiter meandered by multiple times clearing a table which could of just waited 2 minutes. The waitress who did come and take our order was sweet and polite. Our drinks and food did then arrive in a timely manner. My partner had the suckling pig leg which was very tasty and I had the trout with fennel. The trout , potato and herb oil was very pleasant, the fennel had some sort of cream /milk with it which was not to my preference but that's personal. Unfortunately the lacking service continued as we were not checked on at all throughout the meal . Due to the wait and slow service we decided to not stay for dessert as the general atmosphere and experience from the waiting staff just didn't make you feel welcome. I feel this is a real shame as the chef and kitchen team are obviously working hard to make nice food. I appreciate we all have off days but every member of waiting staff here seemed to be in their own world, not prioritising the guests or...
Read moreWent here for lunch with family on our holidays since the restaurant that was recommended to us was sadly closed. The place itself seemed luxorious, everything was tidy, clean and modern and quite expensive (15€/meal) so we expected professional attitude. The waiter looked like death itself, barely spoke, was slow, had this "you're annoying me" face. All beverages were served after quite some time. We ordered two pizzas, one pasta and a salad. The pizzas and pasta came after like 20 minutes, which is completely fine. The weird thing was that the salad never came. When we asked (we had to find the waiter by ourselves, since he was looking on the ground all the time), he didn't say a word and left. After another 5 minutes brought one (cut tomatoes with cheese). The food itself wasn't bad, exept the part when they served us vegan pasta that tasted like nothing (we ordered chicken pasta). When we very politely complained (had to find the waiter once again), the waiter rudely just turned around in the middle of my sentence. He wasn't seen for another 5 minutes and then said that the mistake has been made on his side and he apologized. Since than he was sort of smiling and bit more friendly and the mood in the place inproved i guess. But we recommend to...
Read moreWe didn't have reservation (as said in many other reviews) but we were gently taken care by the waiter Katrin - and after that, a man with white hair and pig tail asked if we need a table and told us to wait for a few minutes that he will arrange it. Very kind of his part. Katrin did our whole service and maybe she was the best part of our experience. Extremely kind - she even noticed we were Brazilians and we start to chat. She was always very cautious when approaching us, gave clever suggestions about our orders (we order the trout tartare, trout hambúrguer, lemon gnocchi and suckling pig leg) and showed so much knowledge about everything on the menu. It was a lovely surprise! In the end, she gifted us with a home-made liquor, made with flower of the region and it was fantastic! The aroma and flavor were inebriant. Although we much enjoyed the food, the service, presented by Katrin was the star of the night. Again,...
