Hotel ALP — Hotel in Bovec

booked the room for a planned one night stay to enjoy rafting and zip lining. Glad we came to bovec. The hotel is right in the middle of town and can walk to everything. Was easy to park. Of note we were doing sports all day the day of our check out and the staff let us keep our car there so that we didn't have to pay for parking in town. That was a huge plus. check in was easy. The room was basic but had an enough space for our suit cases. Bed was comfortable. There is no air con. Room was quiet. Bathroom and shower were small but functional. Great breakfast included. Had eggs, plenty of Italian meats and cheeses. great bread and good coffee. The thirsty river brew pub around the corner. food carts and restaurants. inexpensive good choice...

Shockingly high prices for the quality you get. The rooms are extremely outdated, dirty, broken parts in the bathroom which makes showering a difficult job and toilet seat broken together with lack of toilet paper. Also the WiFi doesn’t work what you sometimes need due to challenging reception in the area.

It was too warm and loud to sleep in. I would definitely recommend to look for a different stay than this one.

Small rooms with 80s decor. No air conditioning and no ventalitation in the room at all. Or wait, there was a ventilation in the bathroom, but given that it took at least 2 hours before you could walk in after someone made number 2, it doesn't work. When we went to bed, we had to open the window wide open so we wouldn't sweat to death. Unfortenatly, if you sleep with open window you must use earplugs as the noise from the loudely discussing drunks far beyond 12 at night in both the inner courtyard and the street is unbearably.
