Chang, Ljubljana BTC — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

Me and my family love this restaurant. It has nice ambient, a big parking for free in front of the restaurant and delicious food. What we liked is that they are creative with flavours and not all food tastes the same which might be the case in some chinese restaurants. They have good noodles with shrimps, shrimos in tempura, rice gnocchi with egg and chicken and shrimps on a hot plate. Sushi looked good as well, but we did not try it yet as it is very hard to get a good sushi in Slovenia. They could improve in the dessert section. Desserts are ok, but as they are very good at other dishes, they could be as well at the last sweet part. Perhaps they could add some more Japan sweets as they have also Japan kitchen, such as Japanese cheesecake, Matcha Swiss roll, Dorayaki, chocolate Chiffon cake, Purin and much more. One star due to utter shock that happened when I opened what they packed as "leftovers" from lunch.

I had HALF of portion left, uneaten HALF of BIG meal, in the plate. And they took plate to kitchen to pack food. I got ONLY HALF od what was LEFT on my plate and ALL meat from dish (and I know there was meat left as I intentionally left it for dinner) was GONE. I got carrots packed with one bite of chicken in it. What do you DO with meat and food you take from plates of customers?

Highly disappointed, even if I often come and leave hefty tips, I won't come back again as stealing and doing whatever with food that is paid for (and it is not cheap) in this form is beyond my understanding.

Chang is simply the best Chinese restaurant of them all. The food is amazing. Among starters I especially recommend roasted crabs (pečeni rakci). I just cant resist to order those every time I go there. About main dishes... There are several great choices, so it is hard to pick the best one. I can expose Pekingese noodles on a hot plate and for main ingredient with noodles you can choose between different meat or shrimp.
