I wonder if they do a good Aperol Spritz? 🤔 You'd hope so, at this Aperol Spritz themed beach bar 🍊.

Great location right on the seafront and promenade in the centre of Portoroz.

We visited on 3 occasions during our recent break to Portoroz. The Aperol Spritz can be very hit and miss, on one occasion it tasted and looked like there was barely any Aperol in the Spritz; more Spritz than Aperol Spritz. On another occasion it was good, really deep orange colour and great Aperol taste.

The service is ok, once your order has been taken it's barked across to the barman, who then makes the drinks. Would be nice if they could walk to the bar rather than shout the orders out. This is made worse when there's music playing, as the music is particularly loud and what I guess most would describe or call 'garage', so on one visit that took the edge off the atmosphere in a huge way, so much so that we didn't stay too long.

All that said it's a nice place to sit in the umbrella shade, on a deckchair enjoying the view out to the sea and bay beyond.

Prices are very reasonable, it's certainly not expensive.

The beer was pretty good too 🍻.

One of the best bars in Portoroz. Waiters know how to do with costumers. They are funny, outgoing and friendly. The location is very good, since tables are placed near the beach. Came for a beer and ended up having a blast due to very friendly staff. We never waited long for orders, they kept coming to us frequently asking us if we need anything else and they ended up joking around with us as well. You rarely feel so welcomed in bars or clubs in Slovenia. Some more famous places on the Portoroz beach...
