I have been eating in many restaurants in once who had various Certifications and won lots of prizes. Also I have been eating in various restaurants from all over the world.
I went to "Rizibizi" this time and my experience was not great after all. The waitress was very kind and polite. The View from the restaurant was above average (from the restaurants in Portoroz).
We ordered Seebars Fonda (1kg 50€), and Beefsteak with truffles (220gr. 28€).
The fish for 2 people came with just a litte plate of vegetables not enough for even one person. The fish was fresh.
Now to the steak, it was okay but not good quality. I only got the steak with a little bit of polenta and truffles. Normally you would get some vegetables with grilled potatoes, but not in this restaurant.
We sat outside and there were so many flies that we could not eat properly.
I can't recommend this restaurant for any date nights or family...
Read moreBooked for dinner, as there was a storm around and raining no comment on any al fresco facilities. There were 2 large tables in that evening and our server did point this out and offered various tables in case of noise. We stuck with the original and actually there was no issue. Nice touch to ask us though. Nice cocktails, very acceptable local wines at fair prices. Focused on seafood as we are, I have to say the offerings were excellent and very fresh, apparently where possible, caught and delivered each morning. Soup was excellent taste and texture, and just in case we still looked hungry, a plate of mignardises to conclude. Overall, staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Though we were pleased we dine early and got our order to the kitchen before the 2 large tables arrived. It was “all hands to the pumps” as we were leaving. A restaurant we...
Read moreIn general a good experience, food almost Michelin looking, must say portion-wise just too few, U cant serve prawns and put 1 single shrimp in a dish and charge me 20+ euro... all dishes were so small and I use to go Michelin all the time.. so please stop do those jokes of portions cause u do great stuff but u piss people off. Chef welcome entreé and pre-dessert absolutely unnecessary, bad, pretentious and not at the level of the rest. Soup was amazing.
Service is competent and the wine suggestions were spot on, the older waiter had much more fine dining touch.
Place looks like a gastropub, tables sets are not at the level of the money asked. Im okay with everything but I want to see value when I spend. I suggest to improve the location.
Price wise I dont feel I had great value. But there is at least space for...
