So many have asked me what happened last night, well I arrived at my gig after I've advertised it the whole week and then none of the staff knew I was playing. I got there early to eat before hand so I ordered the food and started off loading my gear. I then got told to wait till they confirm with the owner first. So I tried to call her but her phone was off. 45min later she comes back and said "oh was the gig for today, I totally forgot as we confirmed 4 weeks ago". I called her and said well most of my gigs I confirm months in advanced and I dont need to remind venue owners about the gigs. I said seeing they didn't advertise from their side if she wants to cancel I need a cancellation fee, as this is my bread and butter or I'll play but there's no way I'll be able to start at the time we agreed on. She said I can play one set for the cancellation fee price and I replied thats not how it works, to setup all my gear for one set costs X amount, she refused it. Then she asked how many clients are there cause if theres no one there, there's no need to pay me. I again said thats also not how it works, she then said well then Sue me and hung up on me. I tried to call her again but she didn't answer and blocked me on whatsapp as well. I then went and asked about my food and the staff said they didnt order it as they weren't sure if I'm playing or not. Anyway All MUSICIANS/ENTERTAINERS pls be aware of this venue as they treat you with no respect. I just wanna say thanx to my fans that pitched, sorry I had to turn you away and thanx to the group that said well come they'll stick me for a meal seeing they're already here. Read morePopped in on St. Patty's evening, to a big surprise- didn't realise how big of a deal St. Patty's was here. A huge effort was made in decor and having live music including bagpipes being played.
However to get any service was excruciating. Impossible. No systems in place to deal with a fully packed restuarant and the occasion simply felt too big for the staff.
The bar was a free-for-all between waiters and bartenders. There is no way they kept track of drink orders. Paying for your drinks was more difficult than getting them.
I believe if the right systems were in place you could have capitalized on the event with people looking to return. However organization left many people frustrated, many people trying to get a drink at the bar walked away and gave up.
Table service was non-existent. Never actually even got offered a menu as it was simply too overwhelming for the staff. Locals were saying that it's never that crazy there. I'm sure alot of effort was made, but probably just bit off a lot more than they were capable...

Firstly your staff were not wearing masks and serving drinks and food without masks. Not adhering to Covid protocols which I have now read more comments stating the same. So I will be reporting this to the necessary parties.
Hour later all 4 lamb shanks come out. Now I have never in my life seen brown soup water filled to the top along with ice cold lamb shanks. So basically microwaved frozen lamb shanks with the defrosted water was the way our food was served. This is no level of serving food. You need to clearly manage your kitchen and improve on your food.
Not sure if you prepared to continue losing customers but we won't be back to eat there due to this terrible experience. Never in any country or place I have been to has the food been to such disgusting...
