KuD'Ta — Restaurant in Durban Central

Kudta employed NASTY and awful fly- by-night bouncers today 29 June at 12:58pm, I decided to record the conversation with 3 bouners at 2 different entrances, 2 guys and 1 lady, the lady said that she saw us entering Kudta, and decided to disappear after, the bouncers at other entrance decided to get aggressive and gave an EXTREMELY disgusting attitude because apparently they saw us leaving and going to the car, hence, they did not let us in, we have seen many people drink in the car or just hang around the parking lot, the bouncers at the entrances , decided to be pathetically rude, the one guy literally screamed from a distance at us telling us we must go, where is his human decency? They were being illiterate and arrogant, we asked for the Managers CONTACT POLITELY, THEY DECIDED TO IGNORE US SAYING THAT 'it's Business' they claim that they saw us drinking in the car but can't identify which car, how? , they advised thay there's no Manager on site and that they have no contact then they decided to act like we did not exist and kept arrogantly telling us to leave, my boyfriend got pushed by the male bouncer at 12;58am saying that *you are making me angry" even though we asked nicely and politely for assistance, could they not comprehend? Are they running backdoor operations for being soo scared not to give Managements details? it must be beyond embarrassing to say that clubs in Chatsworth have more civilized and decent bouncers because they respect everyone unlike the bouncers at Kudta, we decided to record and video the conversation showing that no signs were placed on the walls for people stating that we are not allowed to drink in the car and re-enter or who are not allowed to re-enter after they leave! the bouncer with the phathetic street style hairstyle and blonde hair on the top dressed like he just got out of bed, felt like he was doing something to make him feel like a man, decixed to chase us, they actually got aggressive just for us asking for the details and refused to give us their names. They were ALLOWING PEOPLE WHO LEFT to RE-ENTER WITHOUT ANY HASSEL BUT HAD A PROLEM WITH US!!!! MOST PHARHETIC PLACE EVER, WE NEVER HAD A PROBELM UNTIL TODAY. We always supported Kudta, afrer this experience with the low life Bouncers WE WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS INDECENT PLACE! 12:58AM, 29 June 2025 the 1 bouncer at the main entrance said that I am Dizzy for taking a video to show that there isn't any sign to prove true to...

This was my first time visiting this place as I am not from Durban. I was extremely disappointed when I got there . You have one bar that is opened of which you only have 2 people serving behind the bar . I waited approximately an hour or so to get served . I had asked for salt and the lady behind the bar said you never bought your drinks from me so dont ask me and walked away . I had these security guys push me off the bar area saying that I am holding up space I need to move he literally moved us away from the bar . Then you ask yourself was you asking for free drinks ?

The toilets are pathetic you need to wait in a long queue to use the bathroom since they do not have any other bathrooms to cater for the amount of people that needs to use the toilets . If you really needed the bathroom you would definitely wet your pants while waiting In the que. Which is oddly place because you need to pass a dance floor of 100s of people to get to the Bathrooms .

The venue I would think exceeded the amount of people it could hold since you could not move without someone bumping into you .

The place is understaffed hence the staff working there give a dam about customer service. They need more bathrooms , more bar areas and definitely more man power to run the place .

Don't go there if you looking for a nice outing you will just get...

This review is on the Ushaka restaurant, I have now noticed that there was a previous review at the same restaurant and for the same dish I ordered. The Mutton bunny chow seriously how difficult can it be to serve a decent bunny chow with a decent portion of sambals, the bread was as though they freeze their bread then defrost it when someone orders then they put it in the oven to heat up then bake the bread hard, I complained to an Indian part owner of the restaurant, who appeared to be clueless as to how her kitchen is run as she had to go and enquire in the kitchen as to how the bunny chows were prepared, really one should know how the chef is preparing every dish that your customers are ordering. Which now convinces me that she does not eat the food from her restaurant because she would have complained about the bunny herself. The service was 3rd grade maybe she should do some training for her staff. Such a pity that restaurants like this get away with leaving one felling robbed of one's hard earned money. I love karma I've seen it work so many times to owners like this. Shame...
