Crave Burger Gqeberha — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

I was lucky enough to be there for their Father's Day doughnuts line-up. I have been eyeing them since I found their social media. I thought the way they made their doughnuts and flavours were very different, so I gave them a try!!!

They are definitely freshly homemade on the day. The fillings and the toppings are very generous. The flavours are quite intriguing and not too sweet from my side. There's just a tad something missing from the whole experience. I'm not sure if it is a cohesive taste altogether in a bite or the texture of the doughnuts. It's like it's not soft & light like some doughnuts I have tasted, and not it's not too dense like a bread.

Hence why it's a 4 for me in taste. I gave a 4 in service because I went to their one branch, and it was sold out (they tried calling the other side, but there were no answer, so I guess it left me feeling like I could've wasted my time going there and it could be sold out as well.) When I got to the other branch, luckily there were still available stock and the server was much helpful. It's was a quick-in quick-out place, so there was not much atmosphere or vibe.

I didn't have their burgers or drinks, so I'm not sure about the taste or the prices. The doughnuts were from...

"Great Burgers, great vibe and energy. A destination stop for some great burgers, unique chips and the BEST milkshakes!" - A year ago! Let me update. Still THEE best burgers! The adventure has grown and keeps getting better with new burgers and shake combos the time (make sure you don't miss a limited edition shake!). I always feel welcomed and tempted to just order everything on the menu!

You can actually try set a new record of the biggest burger order, one burger, that is!

I look forward to having the chance to place my order at Crave and see and chat to the awesome crew! Followed my my delicious adventure with an unbeatable unique Crave Burger Taste, when I take my first bite! That includes the vegan burgers too!!

Crave Burger is a trendy American style burger joint on busy Walmer Main road. The staff are very friendly and it's nice that you can customize your burger. However, the meal fell a bit flat for me. I had a cheeseburger with crave sauce, waffle fries and chocolate milkshake. The cheeseburger wasn't bad, but it lacked originality. The waffle fries while a novelty shape were also bland. I recommend the business add a sauce option to their chips eg. Cheese, garlic mayo, cheese and chives etc. A bit like chip 'n dip from the old days. The milkshake was a massive disappointment. Honesty, the flavour was bizarre. I'm willing to try it again, if they develop...
