I was only there to buy little confectioneries. I wish we had the time to sit and enjoy a meal there. Maybe next holiday!!!
From just that, it was such a cute food & coffee shop. They serve breakfast, light lunches, cakes, other treats, etc. I can't explain their decors, but it's got that vintage (white wooden look) with that mid-modern French look. The place is tightly small, but it makes it so cozy to sit and eat there.
Their displays are AMAZING!!! I love these types of setups. They make their own confectioneries, which is so nice if you are buying for yourself or take it home as gifts. I purchased their homemade toasted marshmallows, banana bread rusks, and salted caramel covered in chocolate. Prices range from R50 onwards. They are homemade by them.

Read more3 1/2 out of 5 - Coffee Bakery Restaurant with nice tasting food but on the more expensive side.
So by chance we decided to give it a try, first time visiting. It was a Sunday morning and they have a breakfast menu (see picture). Place was pretty busy and we waited about 5 minutes to get a table.
Waitress battled to get our order right and had to confirm multiple times between us and the menu for what we ordered. Once ordered she came back saying there was no roosterkoek left and we chose the ciabata.
I ordered the Loads of Breakfast, wife the Brioche Breakfast and daughter the pancakes and tartlet. I ordered a Grande Cuppiccino and wife the Tall one.
Food was tasty. Waitress forgot the Jam and Honey we ordered. Ciabata was burnt at the top and sadly the bathroom never had any water...
Overall food was okay but in the...
Read moreAn unmanaged restaurant that will only frustrate you. We decided to visit them this morning; there were no attendants in the car park to indicate that there was no parking inside. All the clients have to enter the gate and navigate around, then just exit and look for parking on the curb. The restaurant was overbooked and overcrowded, but it still accepted more patrons with no sign outside to indicate that it was full. I waited 20 minutes for coffee and an hour for breakfast. paper-printed menus that were soggy and not laminated. During our 2-hour visit, we never saw anyone resembling a manager, and although they cannot cope with the orders, they still sell items from the bakery as well. Do yourself a favor and rather visit Cobblestone Bakery; this is a well-managed, fair-priced, excellent...
