McDonald's Gqeberha CBD — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

McDonalds Govan Mbeki staff are sooo unprofessional, I've never seen such a lack of work ethic at any McDonalds store I have visited. I feel so sorry for the store owner; I walked in there and the staff were busy having coffee behind the front till counters and having a fat chat like they're in their kitchens back at home with no care as to us the customers in store. I ordered breakfast and 10min later they had not even started on my order, bare in mind there was only myself and another customer. I told them to cancel my order and they were begging me to take fries instead of the hashbrown I had ordered; I refused, why must I be inconvenienced because they want to have a catchup session at work instead of serving us? Not only did I leave without any food they also caused me to be late fore my appointment; the service at this store was beyond...

I have been going to the McDonalds on Govan Mbeki for Americano regularly in the mornings, (since they have opened in Dec 2023). It is always very quiet when I arrive, so I get servied quickly with a smile, but this morning was different. When I walked in, the stand-in lady at the coffee machine said to the cashier, before I placed the order.:"We do not have her Americano." Then she said: " We cannot offer Americano with milk." Then she said: "It cannot be poured in a small cup." etc., etc. I have never experienced a problem or a bad atitude like this before. In the past I would place the same order and pay for exactly what I order. This was my last visit to McDonalds on Govan Mbeki. Nobody deserves such treatment. Ps! I've been a huge fan of McDonald's since the very first one opened in the cape and I seldom do one star reviews but this was by far the most disappointing experience twice in a row, we ordered two big mac burgers both times.
