The house is very nice, its a typical of an old British house and everything inside and about the house meets the requirements of any guest. One you leap outside the gate you are in danger zone. I arrived there 2 days before last Christmas. One Christmas eve morning I asked about what was in the location and I was advised that the city centre main street was close by and the various shops etc. I went down to the main street which I found most the unwelcoming place ever and I almost got robbed on Western Road because there was a gang hanging out. Read moreStayed here with my sports team (squad of 17) over a long weekend. Had some challenges getting information from the website and from the manager, despite a number of phone calls to request specific information about kitchen capabilities and room allocations.||That said, what a beautiful place: great view of the harbour for the sunrise, good security and great rooms. ||Only major downside for us was the lack of cutlery - two spoons between 18 people is something of a problem. ||With a couple of minor adjustments, one of the best budget backpackers I’ve been too and at a very good price. Worth it as long as you’re aware of what it’s going to be like and adjust your expectations...
