Food seems to be less for more money and smoking patreons amongst non smoking patreons is not correct and against the law it needs addressing either separation of smoking and non smoking or ban smoking of and kind 😕 including vaping or hubly To the management this is what the country law states:In the Government Gazette of 21 August 2009, Parliament proclaimed that two Acts which amend South Africa’s tobacco control laws are now in operation. The Acts were passed by Parliament in 2007 and 2008.
Key points in the latest amendments are:
Adults may not smoke in a car when a passenger under 12 years is present
Smoking is not allowed in premises ( including private homes) used for commercial childcare activities, such as crèches, or for schooling or tutoring
No person under 18 may be allowed into a designated smoking area
No smoking in ‘partially enclosed public places such as balconies, covered patios, verandas, walkways, parking areas, etc.
The fine for the owner of a restaurant, pub, bar and workplace that breaks the smoking law is a maximum of R50,000 and for the individual smoker R500
The tobacco industry can no longer use ‘viral’ marketing like parties to target young people
The sale of tobacco products to and by persons under the age of 18 years is prohibited

Read moreFood, Service and Atmosphere is tops but I rate only 4 stars because of the platters.
Assumed that at R600 per platter that 2 platters would be bigger and would be enough for about 20 people to snack on but was sadly disappointed and ended up having to add a couple of pizzas. The pizzas are to die for though and they don't skimp on the toppings
I have to add that the items on the platter is probably why it was so pricey for so few treats as it consisted of the best jalepeno poppers I have tasted in my entire life, quiche, calamari, spring rolls, etc. So its definitely quality over quantity.
Maybe a recommendation to add a "budget friendly" platter with some less expensive type of treats for those who want quantity over quality especially when catering for a huge crowd.
Other than that it was an awesome evening with family and friends and I have to compliment management and the staff alike. We were made feel welcome from the moment our feet hit the entrance all the way till we left. The staff are "on the ball" and the ladies who attended to us were quick and friendly.
The manager/owner is just as hands on and I have very seldom seen an owner of an establishment help clear tables and serve drinks. She is an absolute gem.
I will definitely go...
Read moreAs you walk into Table 58, you’re greeted with a warm and friendly smile that sets the tone for the experience. We were seated in their stunning garden area, which was perfect for a relaxing Sunday noon – the atmosphere was vibrant yet peaceful, ideal for outdoor dining.
Although my drink order was initially mixed up, the food more than made up for it. The jalapeño poppers were absolutely to die for, and the ribs were exceptional – falling off the bone and incredibly succulent. Every bite was a treat!
However, there’s room for improvement in the service. The staff could be more attentive to their tables. After finishing our meal, we sat for a while with empty plates around us. When I called one of the staff members in a black T-shirt to assist, he simply went to call our server instead of clearing the table himself. For an outdoor dining area, it’s especially important to avoid having dirty plates linger, as it attracts flies and detracts from the experience.
That said, Table 58 is a great spot for a family outing. It’s children-friendly and offers a good balance of tasty food and a lovely setting. With just a little more attention to detail in service, it could...
