We have always had a great experience at this specific branch. However, when we went last night, we were quite disappointed. The guy that worked at the window had a terrible attitude and basically rushed us throughout. We also asked him to remove something that we had ordered and as we got to the window and got the change, we realised that we were given less change than what we needed. When we asked about it, he told us that it was correct for what we had ordered, only to realise that he hadn’t taken off one of the items we asked him to. Once we brought that to his attention, he gave us an even worse attitude and told us that we had not told him to take it off even though it was said multiple times. We then asked for it to be taken off and he said he couldn’t because he already put it in the system. He was also persistent that we were in the wrong and that he wasn’t going to do anything about it because “we were wrong”. Moreover, whilst we were trying to talk to him at the window, he kept interrupting us by talking to the next person in line as well as his staff members which we found to be quite rude. Because of the back and forth and getting literally no help with this confusion, we ended up taking our food and leaving only to get back home and be disappointing in the food as well as it was bland and definitely not up to par with the usual standard of the food at this branch. Read moreI have been to this place numerous times and I have always ordered the tweens meal for my kid. This meal consists of a cheeseburger, fries, drink and an ice cream cone. On the first time ordering this meal, I was given my bag excluding the ice cream so I enquired and was told that the ice cream was an extra and not included in the meal! I have sometimes been made to wait over 40 minutes in the drive thru and by the time we get to the window, we are hungry, irritated and tired so we just take the meal and drive off….. now while on holiday in another city, we ordered the tweens meal and we received the ice cream for free Included in the meal!!!!!!!! We were shocked to learn that it was in fact part of the meal so on our next visit to this bk, we ordered the tweens meal once again and was handed the bag of food only!! We asked the worker about the ice cream and he was shocked, stuttered a bit and then said that the machine was broken… what a joke!! Just be upfront and say that you forgot or just didn’t give us the ice cream which WE paid for that day and previously! So deceptive and unapologetic. Read more(Problems stated below.) But firstly the staff at burger king are consistently the kindest and friendliest staff you'll find not only at drive-thrus, but even much better than many restaurants.
The staff are currently under a lot of pressure and heat from customers, due to a managerial and logistics issue regarding the milkshake process.
This is a problem stemming from head office.
Burger king you need to fix your drinks and food system, because you have some of the best and kindest staff who are getting a lot of anger due to processes your managerial staff have put in place.
Fix it. There was a guy who was very angry in front of me at the drive-thru, but your staff handled it well. It is a problem because we waited more than 20 minutes at a complete standstill in the drive-thru.
Responsible managers will fix their logistics and not blame their staff.
I do not want to come to this burger king and hear that the staff have been mistreated because of logistic issues.
