Debonairs Pizza — Restaurant in Gauteng

I haven't eaten at Debonairs in years, mainly because they got too expensive and other places had nicer pizzas.

Today a friend gave me a Vodapay voucher to be used at Debonairs, so I decided to give them a try. What a mistake!!

The staff refused to accept the voucher (despite the Vodapay SMS containing the voucher code clearly saying it can be used in-store) and I was forced to download the Debonairs app, place the order on the app and then use the voucher. All while standing 20cms away from a till with a staff member.

Sadly, the "pizza" was then also a let down. They tasted like badly baked frozen pizzas, and had so much sauce on, that none of the other ingredients could be tasted.

I definitely remember why I stopped buying from Debonairs, and won't make that...

I ordered a pizza online, 01:30 later no delivery has been made. I called the shop and after a frustrating time on the phone i was told by the "store manager" that they are busy and by the rest of the staff a story about load shedding. my order was not prepared because they thought there is going to be load shedding and when they realized there is no load shedding they did not even bother to send out the pizza. They did not even have the audacity just to give me a call and tell me they cant accept my order due to "load shedding". The staff is very rude and have no idea what was going on. Speaking to the "Store Manager did not help at all as she was not very polite and helpful.

PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC SERVICE .

Next time i will rather order from Pizza...

Update: Manager contacted me to apologise and fix the mistakes made. Therefore have changed my rating.

Initial review:Awful experience. Ordered 4 x pizza's for delivery online via the Debonairs website. After an hour called to track order. Call centre couldn't help said I would receive a call. After a wait called again, same response, still no call back. Drove to the restaurant where they couldn't find my order so the driver must have delivered it. Got home to find the driver delivered fish and chips. Have called twice since and still no call back. Still waiting for my 4 x pizza's or a refund. I should have checked the reviews before ordering. I'll go back to using Mr. D to order from Romans. Never had an incorrect...
