I guess restaurants also have their bad days. However, I must've visited this restaurant on their worst day.

--- The Food ---

I ordered the steak & ribs combo - 200g steak & 400g ribs, while the steak was good, the larger portion/star of the meal the ribs, were sorely lacking and left a lot to be desired. Underwelming to say the least.

While the ribs had flavour, the dryness of the ribs ruined everything for me. The fries and onion rings that came also with the meal did not do any justice, as they failed to deliver on the freshness and crispy aspect.

Not to be mean, but this meal ranks in my personal top 5 of the worst meals I've ever had.

----- The Service ----

I had intended to rate this review a 1 star, soley on the food, but because of the excellent service we recieved it gets bumped up a star.

Kealeboga, was attentive to our needs, came to check on us all through the evening and made sure we had everything we needed.

--- In Summary ---

While the service was great, the food was a huge let down, and as this is a restaurant, the food outweighs everything else and was the sole basis of this review.

Do I recommend it? NO. Will I return? It will take a lot of convincing, but for now it's a NO from me.

Must be the worsr restaurant experience I've ever had here and I tend to come here but this time I'm disappointed. I ordered a Dom Pedro , a Dom Pedro is thick, why they hell would you give me a small straw? To top it off my waffle gets delivered to me with no syrup , are you honestly telling me the person making it doesn't know how you serve a waffle ? Are you telling me the waitress doesn't know what a waffle is and how it's supposed to be served ? Please being back the white lady that used to manage this place becuase even the manager just decided to take back my plate when I complained about their nonsense waffle . No sorry , he just went to the kitchen and passed by me like nothing happened. Please bring back the white lady , otherwise I'm never stepping foot here ever again..... Oh and also your WiFi doesn't work. Just bring back the white lady, I beg.

Edit: Oh forgot to add that after the manager took my food to the kitchen he didn't come back to me to ask if I wanted anything different. He just went on to have a casual chat with the lady sitting near me, I think they are related so he figured he should rather entertain his girlfriend. I could hear them having a casual conversation . I look over and he's busy poking and pinching her as she giggles.. I had to go pay at the door for my food even if I wanted a different order , nobody asked after my food was returned to...

Waiter was useless, some food was average but medium steak came out extra well done and sauce initially didn't come and after asking it came out dried up. Complained to the manager who was so inexperienced and incapable of handling a complaint that the exact same steak was served again but just on a skillet. No effort has been made to remedy the temperature of the steak. We requested that the steak and sauce be removed from the bill and removed from the table but seeing as it was ordered as part of a combo with a starter we were over charged for the starter. Bill includes a service fee which I normally don't mind but given the exceptionally poor service I think it is appalling as I would never have tipped 10%. When we left the starter plates were still on the table uncollected and even the manager didn't remove any dirty plates or glasses.
