The ambiance was very welcoming and charming in its own unique style. The setting, in my opinion is perfect! It caters for the whole family! A bigger than average smoking area, with a very comfortable setting. A lovely play area (with supervision) which can keep your kids busy for hours! The restaurant setting and decor inside and outside (excluding the smoking area and smoking lounge on the second floor) are average but comfortable, absolutely nothing to complain about. During a very hot day, it's cool inside, and outside you have full coverage shade as well as a fine mist in the air! An absolute delight!

There is a beautiful bar area located inside with various draughts on tap, absolutely amazing cocktails! Every cocktail fan should definitely try their Piña Colada's and Daiquiri's, it's a must! The cocktails are also very beautifully decorated with fruits! They have a wide wine selection, and just an overall huge variety of cocktails and liquor which you definitely don't see everywhere.

As for the menu and meals, there are so many options on the menu, and the content is honestly refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation of the food when it was served at a perfect temperature, it came forth as very "gourmet" even though it wasn't gourmet! I loved it! The taste of the food was exceptional! It's really different compared to your average family restaurants, which like I mentioned above, felt particularly refreshing! For the kids I suggest the Mac n Cheese, it's an absolute winner! My daughter can be difficult about food, but she was crazy about this favorite of hers. I would recommend the Ribs. My husband completely devoured them! I must also mention that they are quite generous with the quantity of the food! Surprisingly so. I also highly recommend trying the Caprese salad, and the batter fried Calamari tubes with savory rice! Absolutely delicious!

As for the service, and staff members, the staff members were all absolutely fantastic! Perfectly professional where professionalism is due, yet quirky, charming and very friendly! Helpful as well, in a way that I have not yet seen. I had an incident where I spilled more than half of a full drink, instead of wiping it off or trying to dry it with a cloth, they provided the table with a clean table cloth, and they filled up my drink with no charge. I was truly impressed. I still am. The staff members that stood out for me the most would be Geoffrey and the bartender!

Located in the east of Pretoria towards mamelodi and close to N4 which results in plenty of taxis and trucks on a narrow road which caused me to drive past the venue and take a round about further down the road to get a gap in traffic to enter the venue. The venue has ample parking inside premises. On a rainy day it might be quite muddy. Large bar area. Food is okey. Not five star but a good pub lunch. From my experience at the venue i feel that the name of the place does not really match what i expected, the bar vibe is much more prevalent than food. I hardly saw people eat and most people were having drinks. I was a day visitor so i dont know if people eat more here at night. Picnic tables outside with cushion seating. I saw plenty of staff but service was slow. Staff ask for tips staight before you pay. I had drinks and ordered pizza take away. Waited around 75 minutes for two pizzas. Pizzas is prepared in wood fired oven. There is a play area for kids with sand pit, jungle gym and there was a jumping castle aswell. I am not sure if this place will be for everyone and i might give it another...

Decided to take a drive and try out this place on a Saturday afternoon for lunch which was really not worth the drive. Was not greeted nicely at all and we decided to sit outside at the kiddies play area due to our small one. Waited a while before menus came because there was a group that came in after us but got served very quickly compared to us. I dont like to assume why but I think I know why. Drinks were brought after a while but our starter didn't so had to remind the waitress again regarding it (she forgot to place the order). I decided to order the mains the same time due to risk of that not coming on time. In terms of details we ordered a couple of cocktails for drinks and a milkshake for the kiddo. Starters was the snails which were not bad but not great. Mains were the Eisbein (a bit dry) and the mashed potatoes not that great. The seafood platter for 1 was not that bad.
