The place is amazing! really coastal chilled out vibes in Fourways. Love it! I made a reservation for 2 for 7pm, we arrived a bit late say 7:15/7:20pm. A table wasnt ready for us sadly. A table was provided pretty quickly so no harm no foul, we were placed under a massive fan, which isnt so bad as it was quite warm but made our Esptada and seafood kebab super cold super fast and I like my seafood and meat to be nice a hot. The service was pretty good, not the very best but not worth complaining about. Overall we had a lovely dinner for my wife's birthday celebration regardless of the wait(bit embarrassing) and the cold food. if it wasnt for these two faults I would certainly have given a 5 star. oh the bread that was brought out was so hard it was more like a rusk. yes more then likely freshly prepared that day but not packaged correctly to keep it fresh. Not enjoyable to eat unless it's for a soup...Well done on such a beautiful venue! we will return one day, dinner outings are a luxury these days so not sure when that'll be...then hopefully I can post a 5...

Its prawn curry for example is among the best I have ever had. The service is also good and its location is both accessible and safe. The food is generally served fast, and the environment is energetic and vibrant, though it can become very noisy and hard to talk to other people. The menu itself is simple, good for a casual dinner/lunch, you should not expect anything too fancy and with the exception of a few dishes nothing...
Read moreJonny's is a consistently outstanding casual dining experience just outside of Dainfern's very own pearly gates. The laid back beach-style decor will take you back to those lazy, hazy beach holidays in Mozambique. Remember the famous R&Rs in the market square at Ponta do Oura? Or sipping katembas (Or Kalimotxo for the purists)( Red wine and Coca Cola) sitting on the beach at Xai-Xai? Well.. you'll be at home at Jonny's. The chicken piri piri is legendary. But ask for Mozambique-syle prawns and you'll never go anywhere else. (Except back to the beach in Moz.) If you haven't already been to Jonny's, you're...
