We had dinner here on New Years Day and after more than an hour and a half of waiting (almost two hours) they then told us that they were having issues making our order of dosas. We were initially prepared to wait 45 minutes for our order because they warned us that it would take some time (which is a bit strange because dosas only take a few minutes to make). This experience could have been improved by the staff actually caring about our long wait time and communicating the delay to us. Instead we had to ask multiple times about the order and the response was that they were working on it. After asking multiple times, they finally told us that they could not make it and asked if we could pick something else. Ridiculous! I also noticed that they seemed to prioritize take out orders over sit down orders.

Normally in this situation the meal would have been complimentary but we were only given a 10% discount

Food arrived after 45mins, starters was served after main course and the curd vada was horrible, this was one of the items we looked forward too as 2 years ago we visited and it was amazing. The sambar for the uthapam was very thick and lacked the sambar taste. The coconut chutney was more ginger than coconut. The paneer Tikka was also disappointing it was not flavored well even tho we said the spice level for everything will be hot and to compensate for under flavoring we had to eat it with chilli and periperi sauce. The management was good as they apologized for the delays and offered us complementary falooda which was the only thing we enjoyed, but the true Indian flavouring was lacking. Disappointing Experience - Not What Was Promised

Visited Masala El Ridge Centre and ordered the Boneless Lamb Biryani. When I asked about the meat portion, the waiter assured me there would be a “proportionate amount” of meat. Unfortunately, what I received was mostly rice with just a few small pieces of lamb scattered throughout. For the price point, I expected much better value and honest communication about portion sizes. The biryani was essentially a rice dish with token meat pieces rather than the substantial lamb biryani that was described.
