First time visiting: We went in for Sunday breakfast and were seated immediately. I tried their dirty chai, which was quite pleasant and strong. I ordered the vegan smashed chickpea mayo open sandwich on rye toast. This was incredibly good, refreshing, light, and well worth the price. I was particularly pleased that the restaurant had offered us steak knives since I've frequently found that butter knives are provided, making it difficult to cut through these breads. The service was excellent; we were checked in by our waiter and the manager several times, and we did not have to wait long for our food. Overall, the restaurant exceeded my expectations. Second time visiting: We went in during the week. Our waiter was Thomas, who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and overall outstanding! We noticed that the menu had changed from our first time there and opted to have the new dishes noted. I had the smoked trout open sandwich. It was scrumptious and beautifully plated. The dish was light yet satisfying.

I ended up in here for pure luck because lunch time caught me in a mall with little time to explore. After getting the menu in my hands I was surprised with how diverse their options were and that they had taken included dishes for vegetarians, lactose and gluten sensitivities as well as other food related specialties. I was not really expecting much taste-wise, as usually big franchises tend to be more into the mediocre side, yet it only took me a few bites to understand that this one was different. The flavour development of both dishes was fantastic and the portion sizes were surprisingly BIG. Their staff was friendly, patient and provided all the answers to my questions... Summarising: it is worth going, stopping by and indulging yourself in their gastronomic offer.

Of all the Mugg & Bean locations I’ve visited, this one is by far my favorite. Once again, my salad was absolutely delicious. The food is consistently prepared to the highest standards and beautifully presented. The staff is warm, welcoming, and provides fantastic service. What truly sets this location apart is the hands-on approach of the owners, who are always present, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The shop is perfectly situated, with the added convenience of a car wash next door…ideal for enjoying a meal while your car gets cleaned. Plus, parking is always available, making every visit hassle-free. This is, without a doubt, the best Mugg & Bean in the country.

Having traveled and worked internationally in the 5 star hotel and hospitality industry I must give my feedback to such a well reputable company that used to be my favorite hangout in south africa .The service was awesome ,ambience was great . Waiters were very friendly and attentive . No complaints there ..i must actually commend them however Mugg&Bean have certainly dropped their quality of food and in the manner it is served ..their scones looked ghastly and tasted like nothing (that's not what I remembered eating the last time I was in south africa )and massive flat cold scones served with a wee bit of butter that wont even cover half that scone and a tiny bit of jam 🙈🙊..we had to ask for the scones to be heated a bit cos it was so hard ..come on guys ? What has happened to those tasty real scones u used to serve years ago with lots of butter and a variety of jams ? With me it's never about money it's all about the quality hygiene and presentation that matters...I definitely will go back cos I love u guys but u definitely need to work on...

Hello dear owner. I have been to your restuarant before and had a pleasant experience, although this time around was different. I really dont want to implicate the waiter involved so I wont mention names either. Firstly, I stood for five minutes waiting to be seated, this may not seem as a long wait, as I am a patient man but it was a terrible wait because someone had cut in front of me. The waiter saw the act and could not rectify it. And considering how limited your tables were, as the restaurant was busy, I could not afford to loose my seat. And it was rather embarrassing I front of my friends. Secondly, the table we were at outside had sticky stains on it, it felt dirty, and in these times I cannot see that as acceptable. I think you would have deserved a four star if not for those two downfalls.

I am not put off your restuarant enough that I would not attend again. But I do wish next time will be a better experience. I hope this feedback reaches you as...
