I am very disappointed with the service I receive last Saturday, 10 March 2018, from the Nando's in Olympus Village. I am a regular Nando's customer and prefer Nando's above competitors because it is a healthier take-away option. I called in an order for four x chicken quarters and chips when I was about five minutes away from the store. The operator took the order and asked whether I wanted rolls with the order. I asked her what came with chicken quarter and chips, because I did not have the menu with me at the time. She said nothing came with it, it will cost R52.50 and finalised the order. Upon arrival I supplied my order number (949) and was informed that my order is not ready yet, but will take another 10 minutes or more. I then saw the "Still Dezamba" special offering a quarter of chicken, chips and Liquifruit fro R54.50. I requested the cashier if I can change my order. She indicated that she would call the Manager to change the order. Upon arrival the Manager, Alfred, indicated that the order was already on the system and cannot be changed. He was extremely rude and unpleasant and definitely not accommodating in any way. He was more interested to chat with three female patrons or friends which he was busy talking to prior to being called for assistance. It was clear that Alfred was just not prepared to change the order by only adding the four soft drinks to a similar order. Read moreLast I ordered a delivery from Nandos faerie glen I was very dissatisfied! To begin with the person we called to take the order and take our address was so confused he said our address didn't exist .. called again and a lady picked up and she had no trouble with our address.. everything was good from there on until the driver arrived.. banged on my garage door twice ... Not on my door.. and got so angry he was about to leave.. mind you he wasn't at my property for more than 3 minutes I reckon.. at most 5. He seemed very irritated and angry at me which was very uncomfortable as I did nothing wrong.. as he was banging the garage door so loudly I was unlocking the front door and I saw he was about to leave.. very very dissappointed in the driver! And very unprofessional.. second.. I was sad to find that my chicken which was Moz paprika had no sauce, but what was really sad was the garlic roll was so dry it had no trace of garlic or butter.. it was a roll placed on a grill... I paid for a roll on a grill with no garlic! Imagine my surprise... It was a very strange experience.... Read moreWe are so dissatisfied with your store. We recieved an order with a missing item. We called the store and we were promised that they will deliver the item. Only to wait for an hour or so. Then we called again to say that we do not want the item since my son was already sleeping after being disappointed with not having chips to eat. They promised that the store manager will call us. He call to tell us that he watched the cameras and it shows that chips were packed.
One question. Would we have waisted our airtime just for chips? The package was sealed and chips were missing. Not happy at all with the way our matter was handled. Can we lie about an item missing.
This was not our first experience of receiving an order from Nandos with a missing item. We have not complained before because we thought that mistakes do happen.
We are hoping that such things will be handled better next time. However we are not happy with the store manager and his approach...
