I had an amazing experience at Piza e Vino! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of modern and cozy. The service was exceptional, with staff who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve.
Now, the pizza—absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Margherita, and it was the best I’ve had in a long time. The crust was perfectly thin and crisp, yet still soft enough to fold, with a light char that added depth to the flavor. The tomato sauce was fresh, tangy, and complemented the creamy mozzarella perfectly. Each bite was a delight, and the ingredients tasted so fresh. It’s clear that they use high-quality ingredients.
Aside from the pizza, the wine selection was also impressive. I paired my pizza with a glass of red, and it was the perfect match.
Overall, Piza e Vino offers an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot to enjoy great food, this place is a must-visit. I’ll...
Read moreExtremely rude waitress. We sat down and a second waitress came to take our order. After that the manager brought the food to the table. Nobody checked in on us even once during the meal. After eating, the original waitress came back to clear the table and barely allowed us to order dessert. After ordering dessert, the waitress seemed disappointed in our order and left the table. Food took long. Dessert looked mangled and was very small portions for the price. Tiramisu tasted like old cheesecake and the panna cotta was so small and completely overpowered by the dragonfruit syrup they try to call a coulis. Very disappointed in this experience. No checkups were done by the waitress and after returning from her disappearance, she kept leaning against the wall by the door or chatted up a storm with the pizza guy. She did not even understand how their loyalty system works and I had to explain it to her. Name of the original...
Read moreWe had a meal here shortly after they opened and it was not a great experience. We ascribed this experience to the fact that they were newly opened and this week we decided to drop in for a meal.
Disappointingly, it was a similar experience. Service was lackluster, with long waiting periods to get our order in, our starters and eventually our mains. Polenta fried and Zucchini fritters fell flat a bit flat and could not be saved by the accompanying spicy mayo.
The pasta dish was bland. Chicken well cooked but ultimately lacked the flavour I'd normally associate with said dish. Pizza's flavour on the other hand was incredible, but it was burnt on the outside and the dough raw in the middle of the pizza.
All of these are relatively easy things to fix and could be a result of an "off night". But I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon or would recommend this place to anyone else.
What a pity. Could easily...
