Roman's Pizza Beyerspark — Restaurant in Gauteng

Absolutely appalling experience. This sit-in restaurant in Boksburg (Romans, Beyers Park) does not have toilets for paying customers. We were told to walk over and use another restaurant’s public toilets – completely unacceptable for a place that serves food and expects people to sit and eat there.

To make matters worse, the staff were clearly uncomfortable and acting out of fear, simply following orders from management. The atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming.

This is not just bad service – it’s basic human decency missing. I’m never coming back here. If you care about hygiene, respect, or even just a bare minimum of customer service, do not waste your time...

I placed an order for 2 pizzas through MrD at 20:33. Pizza was due to arrive at 21:10 - 21:25. I tracked the order on the app and for an hour the app indicated that food was being prepared. At 21:26 finally called Romans Pizza to enquire and was told that the pizzas ready on time but that Mr.D was delayed in collecting. Called Mr D and was told that the driver was on time for the collection, but that Romans was late in preparing the pizzas, hence the late delivery. Pizzas arrived at 21:37 - cold! Came back to change my rating.. if I could give minus starts I would. I bought a Regina pizza on 25/03/22 and it tasted disgusting. Not sure if something was off or if it was made with burned oil. But it was revolting. I took it back and just got blank stares from the staff. Absolutely disgusting service, disgusting pizzas.
