Thank you for checking up. We arrived last night at 18:38 and placed an order just as the backup systems were starting up as loadshedding had started. I am not sure what happened, but it seems like our order did not generate through to the kitchen. 2 sets of people that ordered after us got their food and only then did the lady that took our order realise that something was amiss as we had only ordered 3 burgers and they should have been out relatively quickly. This was just after 7pm, so our order was only placed then. There was no apology given and we were still asked twice after this what we had ordered. I understand the system failed, but the staff should have realised that if an order normally takes 10 mins to complete, if a customer has been there for 20mins that there...
Read moreI have been a fan of steers for many years as a low income individual , And one of the reasons why I always go back to steers was because they one of the only fast food restaurants that used fresh potatoes to make their chips/fries . After visiting and ordering from Steers in Sedgefield I was stunned to find out they are serving awful frozen chips/fries . I am so disappointed having to throw away the chips after only eating a few I could not continue to eat .
I am sure many people will agree that Steers's chips are one of the reasons we all go back . But with this discovery I probably wont .
