To dear Wimpy SA, I am an 80's baby, and Wimpy was and more than ever now a staple and family favorite in our household, and even more so than ever. I had a very unfortunate incident of throwing a cup of mega hot decaf over my lap, it was the most excruciating pain. Your staff are so very attentive and caring. They had realized what happened, and I had staff bringing me clothes to wipe myself, and they were mopping the floors, cleaning the tables and offered assistance to the bathroom. I had a white dress with floral and your super kind waitresses walked with me around the mall to the back entrance of the mall to save me the embarrassment of walking through the mall to the rest rooms. Your staff brought me burn shield and your manager brought a clean cloth filled with ice so that I could apply it directly to the burnt areas. Your staff helped me carry my items, they came to check up on me asking if there is anything additional that they could do for me. They are well equip for an emergency, quick thinking - but above all they showed compassion and genuine concern. Training staff members for first aid is easy, what matters is their compassion associated with an incident with the branch and their fast action. I was offered a choice of regular or chilli mayo, I opted for regular but received chilli anyway. The cappuccino we ordered only arrived after we had reminded our waiter about it, and by that time the food had arrived.
When this was brought to the attention of one of the supervisors after a routine check on tables, he stated rudely that they are busy and it was a bit chaotic that morning (8am on a Thursday, they were not busy), he did not await a response and promptly turned around and walked away while shaking his head.

We also truly appreciated the manager stepping in and assisting us when things weren’t going smoothly; that made a big difference and showed great leadership.
However, we did experience some challenges. The waitress attending our table seemed to be ignoring us, and unfortunately, we were not informed that our food would take longer than expected. This left us a bit uncertain while waiting. Additionally, the milkshake was quite watery, which was a little disappointing.
