Wimpy Game City Halaal — Restaurant in Greyville

I was utterly disgusted with the service received at the City View Wimpy. We walked in and ordered a Chai Latte, the service was so slow that it was only when we stood up did we get told that it was ready. We then requested for it to be made a takeaway. On our way out, I then paid by tapping my phone, which is something that I always do. After walking out of the shop, and one Indian woman shouted back for me. I continued walking and was approached by a guy who works there to say we should go back to the store. I made it clear to him that I was in a hurry, the Indian lady approached and accused me of not paying. I asked why she had not brought the speedpoint if that was the case, she proceeded by shouting. I gave the chai latte back only to discover that the payment had Infact gone off my account. I wish she doesn’t treat people like this!!! Utterly disgusting...

Excellent service, management and food. The waiters are with you within seconds, you don't have to repeat your order nor wait to ask when will you be getting your food. And when it arrives, it's exactly what you want how you want it! I believe leadership at this restaurant knows and understands their staff who in turn understands their clientele. Many times I've seen return customers, this tells you people love being there. There appearance is renewed ever so often which shows they want to remain relevant. The owners of the restaurant get involved in the running of the business and are always checking on their customers asking them if they are comfortable, how their food is, could they do anything better? And if they ever need anything to feel free to engage them. Wimpy should use this restaurant as a training ground for their other stores who could...

Very poor service. Decent seats are "reserved" for certain people. They insist that you buy a sharing jar of soda and then refuse to let you leave with whatever you cant finish as a takeaway because tumblers are "too expensive" for them to give to you(when they actually want to sell that same drink to other customers). Complaints are dealt with very unprofessionally and the boss' wife shouts at customers for complaining about the poor service instead of resolving the issue. NB: I only gave them 1 star because i can't post the review...
