Hi. We made a booking for dinner for 7pm on Sunday, 2 Jan for my in laws wedding anniversary. We left our contact info as requested. Unfortunately, we arrived at 7.25pm, the manager on duty Denise, was extremely rude & abrupt to us in front of all customers & staff present.

First off she didn't greet & looked so upset already, she didn't even bother to ask if she could help. So I asked her for the reservation we made for Rasheen for 7pm for 10 people. She loudly said she gave the table away, you wait 15 minutes & let go of the reservation. I explained to her that she didn't mention that when we made the booking & if that was the condition she had a contact number why didn't call us & inform us. She looked away & ignored us. It is so embarrassing to be treated in that manner with an audience.

The customers she claimed to have given the tables to at 7.15pm ordered, ate & left by 7.35pm, that was impossible considering we waited 40 minutes for our food order as it was so busy.

We waited approx 20 minutes to have a table set up & cleaned. We eventually sat down & was ignored for a further 10 minutes before we could order.

Luckily enough we were blessed with an awesome pleasant cheerful waitress Bongi, who turned our horrific welcome experience to a more positive happier one.

I would like to say, it does not matter if you're busy & making money but these unexceptional experiences are shared with people looking for good pleasant places to eat out.

Please can you recruit staff that are happy & cheerful instead of rude, unconditioned people who have no ethics, manners or people skills.

She should be addressed, even your staff was shocked at her rude behavior but clearly it is her character. She is the face of your business & she could destroy your reputation...

A late post but nevertheless we decided to jave lunch here on 3 Jan on our way back home to Rbay, when we got in we were greeted by the cashier and told us about the special on the Tikka which we ordered after we had our meal and when we were ready to pay I noticed I was charged the norm price and not the special I called our waiter and she apologized as she put the incorrect price. For me the incidents that followed upset me. The cashier was so rude the waiter when she asked her to pls help her change the receipt, she told her go ask the manager who was in a call at the time, mind you this lady was sitting at the till doing nothing at the time. The manager came immediately and changed the price and left the till, so the waiter asked the cashier to pls print the receipt to wi h she replied no and walked away refusing to help even when she said the customer is waiting. I think her name is Bernadine or something to that effect. For me if your job is a cashier do it don't waste my time and are me watch you disrespect the staff. I take my hat off to your waiter for the mere fact it was her lunch time but eve as she ate she left her food several times to come check up on us that in my books is person who values their job. As for your cashier she needs an attitude adjustment to the title of her job, sitting with a uniform and handling g the money doesn't make you the boss with the stink of your attitude as customers watch you. I would rather go to our normal Kebabish in North Beach near the PNP cos the staff are happy and friendly to...

Use to buy regularly for R600 - to R1000 at a sitting. But yesterday Food was average, the chips portion on full combos are tiny, waitress intentionally or unintentionally misquoted the pricing of the specials and we ordered accordingly when we went to pay we charged a much higher price. When they want you to order they say they can upgrade the rotis to naans for price difference but thats untrue they charge in full for all. When spoken to a staff named amanda her attitude was trash, she arrogantly apologized with a roll of the eyes "its just a silly mistake". My question is had we not had extra funds to pay would amanda or kebabish cover the extra charges based on misquoted amount , easier said than done. Another establishment would have have ethically taken responsibility ,here they charge relatively high prices even more than conventional place like kfc(you can do the math) etc yet they dont hold themselves to the same ethics and code of conduct the food service industry should have. Whats worse they put an arrogant unfit person to attend to customer support. We wont get accountability , Do better , you lost a few clients in us. Received a google response from the "owner" or social team to save face, when we responded directly with all details till date there was...

This place is halal. The parking was a little challenge. I parked around the corner. Walk between car and the restaurant did not feel as safe. There is a decent amount of seating. The decor is not bad and the place is neat. There is a sallah facility and a bathroom. The food took a reasonable time to get ready. The unfortunate part is that my call was disturbed to ask if I can move for another group of patrons who literally had anywhere else to sit, as the dine in area was practical empty. I remained but I felt very offended about the request. The menu has lots of pages. The food was well proportioned which is hard to find in this age. I had a kabab bunny. I my view missing some flavour. The butter chicken is very mild version which is good. The salad is not dressed. overall a decent night out, but some of the ingredients seems to exchanged for lesser to reduce the cost price. But the positive side is it is reflected in the over the top prices.

Recently visited this relatively new branch of the north Indian restaurant brand. Ordered the Aloo and cheese parata special, a beans bunny and vegetarian soya burger. The paratha and beans bunny were more or less consistent with the Overport branch. It didn't taste as authentic though. The vegetarian soya burger, however, bordered on being inedible. It was clearly microwaved. The lettuce and dressings were hot, not warm, hot. Definitely not even close to being worth R54. Disgusting that they would think it was okay to serve. Our waiter was very good. Excellent service there. Our food took really long, 20 minutes, which we thought odd for a full vegetarian order. Premises are neat and clean. Wash basins available with soap and paper towels. Toilet facilities also available. I will visit again but will not order anything that's not Indian food. Why are you doing Chinese and western menus? Stick to what you're good at.

It pains me to have to complain about this place as I love it so much and have ordered food here on behalf of guests that stay at the establishment I work at. So, this evening I ordered 2 portions of lamb ribs and the attached pics are what I received. Needless to say, I tried to call the the restaurant and the call didn't get through for whatever reason, so I'm now forced to type this.I'm not sure if this is the new standard Kebabish is setting for itself but I must say, I'm not impressed. This is what as people in the service industry should be trying to avoid - you only as good as the last meal you turn out and this is not it. I trust you will look at this as not vitriol on my part, however, as means to up your game and always strive to outdo yourselves. I do not find this acceptable. Thank you.
